If Adams is predicting the contrary, it looks like place in the top three is a certainty next season

However I don't think they will win the title as Chelsea and Manchester City are blowing the league apart

Chelsea finished 3rd, 3 points ahead of us. City were only 7 points clear, despite being 3 places higher.

Chelsea have strengthened considerably already though, at least on paper. Hard to make predictions until all the teams' transfer dealings are done, not that it will stop Adams.

Tony lost his calendar, but is enjoying the start to the Premiership. He's just not sure why Arsenal have changed their name to France and are playing in blue.

True, but Adams said they were currently blowing the league apart, which they aren't. They should have done better than they did last season; maybe they'll underperform next year too.

Here's hoping!

Is this like moving from Highbury to The Emirates?

MonsoonBloom - 17 Jun 2014 16:19:00 (#11 of 8522)

Why are there two threads devoted to this awful team? It doesn't deserve one. Ffs.

nah, the council didn't have to force anyone out of the way with some CPOs

My fault, I've been posting stuff on the old thread still.

We've started building flats on the old one, so you'll have to play here.

davedanon - 17 Jun 2014 17:26:48 (#15 of 8522)

Redeveloped chunks of posts from the old Arse thread will go on sale at inflated prices soon.

BuddhaPest - 17 Jun 2014 17:31:35 (#16 of 8522)

I don't know if this thread has the soul and the atmosphere of the old place.

davedanon - 17 Jun 2014 17:33:32 (#17 of 8522)

<Listens intently>

Yep. Just as quiet as the other place.

Ask the mods to lock it, that's the usual form

Mainly players from Spain - at a time when ahem, they may have past their peak?

urbanspacemonkey - 18 Jun 2014 07:19:52 (#20 of 8522)

Vermaelen didn't get a game for Belgium.
