Press and hold the app for a few seconds. All non Apple apps will start wobbling and an x will appear in the corner. Tap the x on the Guardian app and it should be gone. Press the start button to stop the wobbling and get rid of the xs.

That's how LG can do it. How can you do it? Have to use some kind of trojan.

thisonehasalittlehat - 20 Jan 2017 20:42:47 (#3 of 22)

Unless you're the NSA. Are you the NSA?

Electro - 20 Jan 2017 20:43:13 (#4 of 22)

We can't remove the app from LG's iPhone.

Alan thinks he can.

HouseOfLametta - 20 Jan 2017 20:58:43 (#6 of 22)

I just deleted the icon and the whole thing went.

It's not like it does anything.

LemonGrass - 21 Jan 2017 05:35:31 (#7 of 22)

Thanks Alan, but I'm afraid that doesn't work. The phone just vibrates, comes up with the leading story and asks me to share the app.

spartak - 21 Jan 2017 05:48:47 (#8 of 22)

iPhone or the other lot?

spartak - 21 Jan 2017 05:53:08 (#9 of 22)

On iPhone I just installed it and did what Alan said and removed it.

HouseOfLametta - 21 Jan 2017 06:59:47 (#10 of 22)

On the home screen put your finger on any icon and wait a few seconds. It will vibrate and they will all* get crosses top right.

Touch the guardian cross and it's gone.

* except all that shit it comes loaded with. Your shit stock market thing? Crucial.

iOS 10 allows you to remove the icon from the screen, although it doesn't actually remove the app off the device, just hides it. Tiny apps though, fewer than 150MB for the lot, so Apple claim.

So about half the memory then.

LemonGrass - 21 Jan 2017 14:17:21 (#13 of 22)

Still doing the same thing. Is there another way?

tasselhoff - 21 Jan 2017 14:18:08 (#14 of 22)

Factory reset

AlanII - 21 Jan 2017 14:36:25 (#15 of 22)

Think Tass is right. Make sure you've backed up all your stuff first though.

LemonGrass - 22 Jan 2017 15:39:01 (#16 of 22)

Problem solved! I was pressing it too hard

zardoz - 24 Jan 2017 12:42:59 (#17 of 22)

You wouldn't have that problem on an Android phone.

HouseOfLametta - 24 Jan 2017 12:44:17 (#18 of 22)

I don't think you can get the guardian on an android phone.

zardoz - 24 Jan 2017 12:44:43 (#19 of 22)

That's probably why.

HouseOfLametta - 24 Jan 2017 12:49:33 (#20 of 22)

It's all Angry Birds and dogging.
