Pussies Galore. The slaves finally speak out.

Cats, kittens, moggies, Norwegian Forest, Maine Coon and all the others. Let the slaves document the trials and tribulations of life under their rule.

So I go to kiss Shedders on the forehead, and his huge paws grasp my hand, and his mouth bites into it. I'm used to this now, I prize open his jaw and wrench my hand out. Yet, not that long ago he was curled up to me, watching tv. I've noticed he's always on alert.

Jumps up onto outside windowsill. Glares at thread occupants. Assumes Yoda ear position and biffs own reflection.

Talk about fickle cats - Preferred Human was away last night, and for the first time I was privileged to get the wake up call he usually gets: girlcat hollered in my ear one hour before the alarm went off, and then turned around and bitch-slapped me with her tail. And poked the tip up my nose. I did manage to drop off for half an hour before she started singing the song of her people in that spot in the hall where she finds the acoustics are extra good.

Ha,ha. Better off not being the preferred one.

My favourite birthday card has a cat sitting nonchalantly on a table looking at a glass of wine. The caption is “I wonder if this will bounce”. Cut to paw against glass with an innocent face and then a little cat face looking at the carnage.

Next frame is same cat looking curiously at a glass on the other side of the table and pondering “maybe that one will”.

It’s so cat and I love it.

Little fuckers.

Aw, I so wish I could serve a cat again. I miss catness.

yumyum - 17 Apr 2018 06:47:26 (#15 of 1034)

I am a lurker who has now subscribed. I'm even planning on future cat ownership (although I'd have trouble getting a cat flap done with my double doors at front and back).

Welcome, yumyum. Remember, dogs have owners, cats have staff.

Hello Yummers! Awesome to see you in Cat-land.

After being at the vets twice last week first thing (dental extraction, and then follow up) Jake has decided that any attempt to feed him breakfast is going to lead him to being trapped in the utility room ready for transport.
