Photography 2 - link and discuss your photographs here.

All the threads I started in the past were failures. I hope that's not a bad omen for this one.

Any category is welcome but please don't link illegal or offensive imagery.

Use http://tinyurl.com/ or http://snipurl.com/ for long links and try and keep the images to an easy viewing size.

Critiques, helpful tips and advice are encouraged.

Thanks very much for the new thread. It now loads instantly

Oh, here you all are!

As there seems to be a distinct lack of photos, apart from a couple of lucky bugs, I'll put something up just for the time being until someone can find some better shots to brighten the place up a bit.

This isn't anything special, just a shot of my daughter taken on a phone, but I quite like it and the car and the recent Black Friday nonsense led to me adding the text:

Perhaps someone should suggest a new theme.

Not me. I suggested the last one (rain).

Oh my!

wickeltisch - 01 Dec 2014 13:39:27 (#11 of 3155)

I think the only interiors I have are in churches.

The Klosterneuburg shot is particularly magnificent.

It is a stunning church.

I think these are all my interior shots.

One of the most magnificent churches I've ever had the pleasure of visiting (St John's Co-Cathedral in Valletta):

That's fantastic.

I love the duomo in Siena but the photos I took there weren't good.

hailesaladdie - 01 Dec 2014 13:57:56 (#20 of 3155)

I also need to get round to doing my pictures of the interior of Palma de Mallorca cathedral. It's perfectly designed so that the most intense sunlight shines through the rose windows to create heavenly beams of red and yellow.
