For what it what its worth I thought Stig was shite. However to call a person a 'Stig' was a good nickname for the rustics at school though.

Forgot about this thread. Read the second hand copy mentioned above to LittleDH in summer bedtimes.

I thought it was pretty well done. Chapters are standalone stories, ambles along pleasantly enough.

What's more the boy liked it. Apart from a couple of Dahls, he's resisted a lot of my nostalgia reads.
