From Belgium

Brussels is becoming a problem. They keep on warning about the increased rates, but lower death rates. There's a meeting of the special council to next week in which they might announce new measures. But the newspapers are reporting voices, especially with regard to the economy, that we should just take the rough with the smooth, especially since death rates are falling.

Also voices in the media suggesting that the risks from a not thoroughly tested vaccine are lower than just letting infections continue to rise.

According to the news, Belgium was the only country to prohibit travel to other EU countries classified as red.

This is now going to change, and as part of a future "greater harmonisation" the belgian government will only strongly warn against travel to such countries.
