What did you eat today?

Serious thread. I need to eat more fruit and veg and protein...

For breakfast I had a buttered bun and coffee, a carton of coconut water and a strawberry fruit School Bar (no seeds).

Lunch is going to be a pot of tea and a cheese scone in a café. Tea is going to be home made chips, mushroom pate topped with avocado and BBQ cheese in a bun.

Supper is going to be an apple.

Few slurps of Onken yog (breakfast) / apple (brunch) / large chicken salad baguette + another apple (lunch) / few slurps of Yeo Valley yog (afternoon snack). Will have a few beers later then will probably cook a pizza, leaving some for a cold pizza saturday breakfast.

A banana, far too many grapes, toast with butter, toast with butter and marmalade, toast with butter and rhubarb and raspberry jam. Two litres of tea.

I will be having Jersey Royals with something later.

End of the week so I made an end of the week fridge bits fritatta, it was bogging. Washed it down with ginger beer to get the taste out of my mouth.

Yesterday. Scrambled eggs on wholemeal toast. A 12" chicken salad Subway shared with my mum. A veggie supreme pizza.

Rather a carby day.

Yesterday

Breakfast - two crumpets and a couple of tablespoons of Greek yoghurt with muesli, a satsuma.

Lunch - salmon and tuna sushi, edameme bean salad, cup of miso soup, apple and a fruit and nut cereal bar.

Dinner - four seasons pizza, green salad, shared ice cream (vanilla, raspberry ripple and pecan) third of a bottle of merlot.

Yesterday.

Breakfast - hot chocolate and porridge (home made mix of jumno oats with assorted seeds and dried fruit) with cherries.

Lunch - peanut butter on toast. Apple & mango juice.

Dinner - leek & cheese filo parcels, potato and broccoli gratin, peas, gigantes, glass of wine.

Before bed - hot chocolate and a square of milk chocolate.

pre dinner snack - edamame and chilli dip with melba toast, gin and tonic

dinner (about to eat) chicken green curry with broccoli and rice, beer and then a yoghurt afterwards.

Smoked mackerel and jersey royal terrine with asparagus, followed by a mahoosive scallop with smoked haddock in a creamy fish sauce

Smoked salmon quiche with potatoes and asparagus

A selection of cheeses

4 leeks cut into 2" lengths, half a dozen Jersey Royal new potatoes, quartered; garlic and onion, a handful of frozen spinach, a litle sliced fresh fennell, a piece of haddock fillet stirred in until flaked, smidgins of olive oil, palm oil and creamed coconut. Seasoning. A cup / quarter pint of single cream stirred in when cooled.

Made about a couple of litres, to be served at successive meal times until finished. It gets lusher.

Later, warm pizza.

Then steak, peas and mushrooms.

I'm on an Italian ship and it's pizza Saturday. Unfortunately. I was amazed that they had food, as well.

Let me clarify: up at 15:00, pizza and tea, gym.

18:00, on shift. 18:30, warm pizza. They had croissants and bread buns, too.

23:00: real food!

Caesar cocktail for breakfast. Nova Scotian white. Lemon tart. Some dark German malty bread, butter and sunflower sprouts, cheese and a shedload of beer. Probable home made blueberry pie and cream.

To Pho Hung for a B3, rice noodles with veggies, crushed nuts and chicken stir fried in lemongrass, very yum. Then I accidentally ate a whole large bar of peppermint Kit Kat. Pint of Kilkenny for F's birthday. Now I feel a bit sick and will never eat chocolate again.

Yesterday: Sausage toastie, cheese and coleslaw sandwich, tandoori chicken with dhal and rice (made by me not take away).
