That's why you have sluggish blood.

TauCeti - 26 Sep 2020 18:08:29 (#82 of 100)

Aspirin helps with thick blood.

JohnIlly - 26 Sep 2020 19:02:46 (#83 of 100)

Why can't those cunts spell "liquorice"? Haven't they got a fucking dictionary?

The OED has both spellings.

JohnIlly - 27 Sep 2020 14:45:03 (#84 of 100)

Talk earlier of words with over-corrected spelling reminds me of hiccough for hiccup.

Delighted_User - 27 Sep 2020 17:12:03 (#85 of 100)

As I mentioned at #43.

JohnIlly - 27 Sep 2020 17:33:06 (#86 of 100)

I apologise, D_U. I hate it when other people do that.

Verdigris - 27 Sep 2020 17:34:27 (#87 of 100)

Contrition from the boy Illy, there.

They think it's all over...

RosyLovelady - 27 Sep 2020 18:40:15 (#88 of 100)

Just because some blood is slow, it doesn't mean it's thick.

TenGorillas - 27 Sep 2020 18:47:05 (#89 of 100)

I love salt liquorice and have definitely made myself sick overdosing one it before. I knew it could be fatal so I toned it down.

levelgaze - 27 Sep 2020 19:01:21 (#90 of 100)

I have always spelled it 'licorice', and I'm fussy about spellings.

RosyLovelady - 28 Sep 2020 07:13:51 (#91 of 100)

The pronunciation of "liquorice" is an old shibboleth, of course.

raymie - 28 Sep 2020 07:17:17 (#92 of 100)

#86

I too hate it when other people mention something before I do

Tenesmus - 28 Sep 2020 08:04:46 (#93 of 100)

Liquorice is disgusting, vile, horrid, gopping shite and should all be destroyed with flame tbrowers.

Dubris - 28 Sep 2020 08:11:51 (#94 of 100)

My mother used to like liquorice because she found its laxative effects helpful. Thank goodness she doesn't eat it any more, given that every morning she takes a combination of pills to stop her blood pressure from getting too high.

RosyLovelady - 28 Sep 2020 08:14:00 (#95 of 100)

I like it.

browserbutton - 28 Sep 2020 08:56:08 (#96 of 100)

I am partial to lickerish allsorts, except the one covered with blue beads.

RosyLovelady - 28 Sep 2020 09:01:17 (#97 of 100)

You're right about the beady allsorts anyway.

solomongursky - 28 Sep 2020 09:06:14 (#98 of 100)

That's a disgusting lie.

RosyLovelady - 28 Sep 2020 09:07:37 (#99 of 100)

Reported.

hailesaladdie - 28 Sep 2020 09:18:50 (#100 of 100)

They're the best ones!

Still not a patch on Tyrkisk Peber.
