Yay.

This Summer:

May-June - Sri Lanka in England (3 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20)

July-September - Pakistan in England (4 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20)

spartak - 11 Apr 2016 12:47:49 (#2 of 6367)

Yay!

clammy - 11 Apr 2016 15:13:43 (#3 of 6367)

All on Sky Sports I suppose, OK for me but hardly the way to encourage national interest.

Moschops - 11 Apr 2016 15:30:29 (#4 of 6367)

Cook gets 105 on his return to county cricket.

Bloody hell, James Taylor has had to retire because of a serious heart condition.

dreams99 - 12 Apr 2016 10:52:18 (#6 of 6367)

I'm sure he's got a friend to help him through it.

MadamGeorge - 12 Apr 2016 10:54:00 (#7 of 6367)

That's a real shame.

Moschops - 12 Apr 2016 10:54:30 (#8 of 6367)

Fucking aye, just as his career was taking off

cozzer - 12 Apr 2016 11:18:04 (#9 of 6367)

That is very sad. Like chops says, just as it looked like he was making a good case for having a long run in the England team.

In the BBC article about this, it has a list 'What are symptoms of ARVC?' and the last one is 'Risk of sudden death on exertion' - that's not really a great symptom for deciding whether you might have the condition or not.

MadamGeorge - 13 Apr 2016 09:28:45 (#10 of 6367)

This is a good read:

Broady's GF. I say!

Wisden's Five of the Year;

Kane Williamson

Brendon McCullum

Steve Smith

Ben Stokes

Jonny Bairstow

dreams99 - 18 Apr 2016 13:27:24 (#13 of 6367)

Bairstow has just scored a double century for Yorkshire v Hants. Lyth also scored a century.

dreams99 - 18 Apr 2016 13:28:15 (#14 of 6367)

Yorkshire just scored 236 in a session, Plunkett has 94 of them.

dreams99 - 18 Apr 2016 13:29:48 (#15 of 6367)

Sam Robson also got a double for Middlesex.

dreams99 - 20 Apr 2016 14:44:08 (#16 of 6367)

He then got a century in the second innings too. Trott got an unbeaten double for Warwickshire in that match.

SGM1A1 - 20 Apr 2016 18:20:27 (#17 of 6367)

Bit of a farce at Lord's as Warwickshire use 11 bowlers in Middlesex 2nd innings. Tim Ambrose gets his first first-class wicket, Adam Voges for 92.

Kent batsman given out handled the ball:

Chris Jordan has gone out to the IPL. Shouldn't he be in our Test squad?

MadamGeorge - 28 Apr 2016 07:50:46 (#20 of 6367)

Not really, Jordan is a good one day player but I'm not convinced that he is a Test Match player.
