The most I've won is €300 on a €5 slot spin in a casino in Nice. Nice.

popstar7 - 04 Dec 2016 19:33:56 (#2 of 370)

I bet that was nice.

popstar7 - 04 Dec 2016 19:34:29 (#3 of 370)

Not literally, obviously.

fogger - 04 Dec 2016 19:39:46 (#4 of 370)

It was nice as I thought I was playing €1 a pop so was momentarily annoyed when I realised I was spinning all my massive budget.

I once also won so much out of a fruit machine that it ran out of money to pay me out. Helpfully it kept flashing a message to that effect so the barman gave me the rest out of the till.

<is massively bored>

Who considered to be the best online bookie for footie betting?

popstar7 - 04 Dec 2016 19:48:33 (#8 of 370)

Whoever Ray Winstone's massive, disembodied head is promoting.

Bet365, maybe?

Zugunruhe1 - 04 Dec 2016 19:54:42 (#9 of 370)

I have an account at WH. Mostly use it for their 'both to team to score' betting.

One of our colleagues swears by Betfair, of course.

dreams99 - 04 Dec 2016 19:57:05 (#11 of 370)

I bet on Betfair. 30p a line, 5 match multiples, 31 lines so £9.30, x 2 each fixture week.

Moschops - 04 Dec 2016 19:58:30 (#12 of 370)

Other than the Grand National, I don't really gamble any more. Am off to the races for the first time in years over Christmas though so looking forward to losing some money then.

Rendered - 04 Dec 2016 19:59:25 (#13 of 370)

Betfair is probably the best exchange but I tend to use bet365 for fixed odds betting.

I love the ads. Mainly for the fact Ray is clearly reading from a teleprompter. That lack of dedication to earning ad money is to be applauded.

How much do you reckon you win/lose over a season dreams?

dreams99 - 04 Dec 2016 20:00:12 (#15 of 370)

When I have a lot of spare time, ie when I'm unemployed, I tend to play poker online a lot. That's also the time when I have least money. Haven't played poker for about a year now.

How much do you reckon you win/lose over a season dreams?

I don't know over a season. A few weeks ago I got 9 results out of 10, and made £167. I took £100 out and have lived off the rest since. Will make a small profit this weekend, would have been better had Pool won. Need a Boro win to break even on my odds on multiple.

MidnightMassChops - 05 Dec 2016 08:36:09 (#17 of 370)

When Neptune Colonges got up to win by a nose in the GN, that got me about £210.

fogger - 05 Dec 2016 08:38:38 (#18 of 370)

I estimate I've about £400 on Grand Nationals in the 15 years.

popstar7 - 05 Dec 2016 08:38:55 (#19 of 370)

I'm trying to remember if it was Winstone's massive head that told me to bet on Brexit at 9/2 the day before the vote.

Won or lost?
