Name anything(s) you have done that you sense maybe nobody else has ever has.
What was the name of that guy who lived in a US swamp and cooked with marg (sic) and cornflakes?
Dorry
Is museli the same as Müsli or some horrible English stuff *?
*Like Marmite for example.
EDIT: do you mean anyone else on JtT?
Meant anyone, but anyone on JtT is ok - perhaps posters could specify?
At 2am, anonymously left bottles of beer outside the front doors of various neighbours to surprise and delight them.
Got the autograph of Gustav Mahler's granddaughter. Prob. true on JtT; rather possible globally.
Got Art Garfunkel's autograph, proclaiming how I'd raised a lovely daughter. She also showed him what Google is, as he was amazed how she managed to print a picture of him.
They spent the evening chatting by a log fire at the four-star hotel where she worked
She also showed him what Google is
There are people in the first world who don't know this? He must be the only one.
Like that a lot, Tass.
He's a bit of a technophobe. He arrived at her hotel in France after doing a gig in Geneva, hiring a car, refusing to use GPS, and ending up lost. They spent most of the evening discussing how modern stuff was rubbish. That and him telling her he and Paul Simon still chat regularly on the phone, discussing songs and how to arrange them.
9/46 references on JtT to Art Garfunkel are Tasselhoff re-telling that anecdote his daughter.
10/47 now.
I'm rather proud. The Sean Connery one is my personal best and I've probably told that one as many times.
Shadders is just jealous because he hasn't got such great anecdotes
I'm probably the only person on here that has given a very drunk Robin Day a lift to the station while he tried to cop off with a woman in the back of the car.
I'm not allowed to tell the greyhound one any more.
'That and him telling her he and Paul Simon still chat regularly on the phone, discussing songs and how to arrange them.'
But they've been slagging each other off for years, so much so that when I typed their names into Google to verify I hadn't imagined it, it suggested 'Simon & Garfunkel feud' to me.
