13 Days. They'll need a different title for the movie, that one's already been taken.
I wonder if he'll have to be dragged out, kicking and bellowing?
Yes, here's the full 'statement':

Statement by President Donald J. Trump on the Electoral Certification:
“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th. I have always said we would continue our...
...fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted. While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again!”
I love the bewildered replies I'm seeing: how can he give up? Where is The Storm? Wait, you will see that he has A Plan.
Here is the letter from an Italian lawyer, on a blank sheet of paper and helpfully in English, PROOFING that the Italians rigged the election for Biden:

I've seen several tweets praising the aides who rescued the electoral college ballots or otherwise they would have been burnt by the mob, but surely that wouldn't have made any practical difference? It's just academic, everybody knows what the vote tallies were, and what the electors' intentions were, you don't actually need the physical ballots to confirm the election.
I think it would have been highly symbolic and would have added an extra layer to the feeling of out-of-handness.
They're legal documents with signatures on from each state's legislature. By the process, they couldn't have completed without them. It's all archaic, but those are the rules. The US prides itself on living as if it were the 1770s.
Maybe you do need them? Don't forget the US instruction manual dates from 1788.
Would probably have slowed it up whilst they printed off new copies and got them signed.
...and if the evidence had been destroyed the Trumpeters would have suddenly become all evidence-focused.
