West Ham are great even when they don't cheat

Not that they did.

I was going to call the thread the Scott Parker Appreciation Society but then members would be called SPASses, which would be in poor taste.

Bonusy - 14 Mar 2011 22:17:59 (#2 of 779)

You mean like one of these?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franchi_SPAS-12

Yeah, poor taste, given that Tass isn't posting here.

I am unconcerned about Sunday's defeat. League matters more. And we'd only have lost to Bolton in the semis. Good luck to Stoke I say.

abc123 - 16 Mar 2011 20:45:03 (#4 of 779)

Do you follow / support West Ham AND Stoke, Lawls?

Grant has a bit of a go at the pornographers through the familiar paper route of 'close friends'.

Poor ol' Avram.

Moschops - 18 May 2011 13:14:44 (#7 of 779)

He is a bloody rubbish football manager though

Lawlsie - 18 May 2011 13:17:38 (#8 of 779)

Do you follow / support West Ham AND Stoke, Lawls?

Yes. I just want to be on the side that's winning.

Suggest that you will need a blue and white shirt for Sunday again then

Lawlsie - 18 May 2011 13:23:48 (#10 of 779)

Arf!

S'okay. I also support Arsenal. Another team of winners!

VinceNoir - 18 May 2011 13:25:34 (#11 of 779)

Are you sure about that?

Are you sure about that?

Oh yes! I can sure pick 'em.

I had Man City to win on Sat 3-0 at 12/1.

Buggers went and did that last night! When I had nothing on the game.

So do come to me for all your tips. I'm the pundit you can safely ignore.

I've just figured out the combinations and it's possible for Wigan to win and go down or to lose and stay up.

Lawlsie,Did you hear about the banner on Sunday?

Oh yes- Brum and Blackpool both away (at spuds and Manu) so if they both lose heavily and Wigan only lose 1-0 (at Stoke) say then they could stay up.

MarvMarsh - 18 May 2011 14:20:16 (#16 of 779)

No football fan supports more than one team. That is law. Vince has already fallen foul of that elsewhere, the disgraceful 'second clubber'.

VinceNoir - 18 May 2011 14:24:21 (#17 of 779)

I don't support them, Marv, I just look out for their results to see if they are doing well.

Reading, Brentford and Basingstoke, PR.

Reading and Basingstoke because of living there, and Brentford is a family thing.

It's just a following them rather than supporting them thing though.

Lawlsie - 18 May 2011 14:37:58 (#20 of 779)

Lawlsie,Did you hear about the banner on Sunday?

No! What it say? Hope you can escape the drop 6to20.
