German Forces continue the invasion of Poland and the Free City of Danzig, access to which was used as a pretext for war, is formally annexed.

With trust and hope for peace shattered Britain and France prepare to respond.

At 9:30am yesterdsy morning the British Government issued a final ultimatum to Germany to withdraw from Poland or face war. With no response by 11am. The British declare war later that day with France joining them a few hours later.
