Israel vs Iran

Does anyone here know what is kicking off?

Israeli guy: "They need to remember the saying that if it rains on us, it’ll storm on them."

Oh, it's going to 'storm' on everyone.

Gotout - 10 May 2018 16:07:40 (#2 of 378)

Well we've certainly had Storm on Trump.

BuddhaPest - 10 May 2018 16:20:18 (#3 of 378)

It would not come as the least bit of a surprise to find that Trump and Netanyahu are coordinating their countries' approaches to Iran. Certainly the content and timing of Netanyahu's announcement last week and Trump's this week seemed coordinated in content and timing. Both seem to be itching to launch an attack on Iran.

Presumably this is where Trump has turned now that he has been denied his war with N Korea - it seems it has permeated even his thick skull that war increases a leader's popularity and is likely to ensure a second term for him. I felt his announcement was designed to provoke Iran into taking some steps to reinstate their nuclear programme, which would result in an instant response - like a gunslinger inviting someone to 'draw'. Not that Trump as gunslinger is an image that comes easily, as it will sadly be others whose lives are placed at risk.

The Mad Moustache is Dumplord's right hand man. Expect more trouble.

Gotout - 10 May 2018 16:24:26 (#5 of 378)

Trump probably sees himself as a gunslinger, until he realises that the other guy is also armed. Then he will run away.

machiavelli - 10 May 2018 16:29:07 (#6 of 378)

Trump is doing what he's told. The game is older and bigger than him.

Gotout - 10 May 2018 16:34:17 (#7 of 378)

But does he understand that?

SheikYerbouti - 10 May 2018 16:34:27 (#8 of 378)

The shadowy Jews who run the world, again.

AdrianNTierney - 10 May 2018 16:35:57 (#9 of 378)

The Iran nuclear deal was highly flawed. Greedy mercantilists of the EU, eager to sell anything to an oil producer, prefer a flawed agreement that allows Iran to produce missiles, advance its nuclear ambitions, and intervene in all its neighbors affairs.

Not very advantageous to the future of reasonable people.

The shadowy Jews who run the world, again.

Go fuck yourself with your insinuation.

raymie - 10 May 2018 16:39:08 (#11 of 378)

pass the buck when it's obvious to everybody the sole reason for kicking the deal is the cunts want to bomb somebody. same old story

machiavelli - 10 May 2018 16:39:15 (#12 of 378)

Not very advantageous to the future of reasonable people.

You fucking idiots, by trashing Iraq have allowed the Iranians to greatly increase their influence. Once again your witless interference has made things worse and blown up in your face.

SheikYerbouti - 10 May 2018 16:42:22 (#13 of 378)

Go fuck yourself with your insinuation

You love it! If it makes you feel better, I was accusing you of fatuity not rascism.

AdrianNTierney - 10 May 2018 16:57:43 (#14 of 378)

You fucking idiots, by trashing Iraq have allowed the Iranians to greatly increase their influence.

Lest other idiots forget, the Iraqi 'adventure' was a bi-partisan effort. Unconstrained by any localisms in the US. Or in the EU countries, for that matter.

Twenty-twenty hindsight triumphs AGAIN!

SunkenTreasures - 10 May 2018 17:06:06 (#15 of 378)

It isn't with the benefit of hinsoght that people are pointing to Iraq as a disaster and part of a wider problem; plenty of people were pointing this out prior to the invasion.

virgil5 - 10 May 2018 17:20:54 (#16 of 378)

Iran will be very difficult to bomb into submission if the current regime can hold onto power.

Unfortunately innocent Iranians will die in a Bibi/Trump ineffective political cruise missile photo op for their idiot voting bases, validating the Iranian mullahs and insuring their hold on power.

The real victims are the Iranian people, who deserve much better. Iranians in the US should tell Trump to fuck off.

AdrianNTierney - 10 May 2018 17:28:04 (#17 of 378)

The nuclear deal injected a great deal of immediate cash, plus business opportunities into the Iranian economy. But as most of this funding went to increase Iran's adventurism in Middle Eastern countries, very little of this economic growth went to the normal residents of Iran; those not affiliated with the Revolutionary Guard or its commercial offshoots.

So voiding the US's part in that nuclear deal allows for a better life for Irans's ordinary people.

So much for foolish speculation about cruise missiles.

bossab2 - 10 May 2018 17:33:50 (#18 of 378)

Well the Russians will be pleased as it will put the price of their gas up.

mingmong - 10 May 2018 17:36:48 (#19 of 378)

Never understood why Iran is the massive baddie, while the likes of Saudi Arabia (with all their crucifying, terrorist-sponsoring habits) get a free pass

Shadrack22 - 10 May 2018 17:40:46 (#20 of 378)

History, Ming.
