Why is 'Shaun of the Dead' always on ITV2?

They seem to rotate the same films.

Cheers sol, when’s it on next?

solomongursky - 07 Jul 2019 14:52:54 (#367 of 384)

We're well overdue.

breakfast - 07 Jul 2019 17:47:35 (#368 of 384)

Columbos's: Prescription Murder is on 5 USA at 6.55 pm. I bet there's something to do with a medical prescription in it.

RosyLovelady - 07 Jul 2019 17:54:38 (#369 of 384)

I wish they'd show some different Columbo programmes and not just the same half-dozen, over & over again.

Leftie - 11 Jul 2019 15:52:55 (#370 of 384)

So they still haven't changed the films on ITV2?!

Try Amazon Prime. They've got some films which are STILL in the cinema. If you don't mind paying for it.

Peacock - 11 Jul 2019 15:54:56 (#371 of 384)

I'm not paying for Bezos divorce, leftie

RosyLovelady - 11 Jul 2019 16:40:42 (#372 of 384)

Me neither. Paying for films sounds fair enough but not to that jerk.

moto748 - 11 Jul 2019 18:45:50 (#373 of 384)

Sod paying for films. If I'm going to pay to see films, I'll go to the cinema.

Watch on your TV or laptop, or for two or three quid more, at the cinema? It's no contest. Especially as there's plenty of free stuff to watch on TV.

Hot Fuzz is a film that does seem to get better on subsequent viewings

When I first watched it, I thought it was good but not as great as Shaun of the Dead - but in hindsight, think it is a much better film now.

The Worlds End also seems to be aging well.

I'd never heard of Spaced until an old housemate introduced it to me back in 2006 - was a revelation!

JohnIlly - 11 Jul 2019 19:32:12 (#375 of 384)

Shaun of the Dead is on next week but . . .

it's on the Syfy channel

Leftie - 12 Jul 2019 13:02:23 (#376 of 384)

Well as I understand it, the most recent films are so much per month, not per film. I don't really want to give Amazon any money either.

After quite a gap (perhaps as long as a year?) there was a Bridget Jones film on tv last night. I expect there will be more of the same to follow.

Shadrack22 - 30 Jul 2019 19:06:28 (#378 of 384)

Get the Chardonnay and KP Nuts in - Bridget Jones’ Diary is on this Saturday night (ITV1, 10.35pm).

solomongursky - 30 Jul 2019 20:00:15 (#379 of 384)

That one where Keanu Reeves escapes a nuclear explosion on a motorbike is on every week now.

MorrisMitchener - 31 Jul 2019 21:19:12 (#380 of 384)

I used to have a free promotional merchandise clock for that film, Chain Reaction. It was powered by water! It were fucken' brill.

Intowntonight - 01 Aug 2019 10:21:32 (#381 of 384)

The political message in S of the D is clear:

PolishMark - 01 Aug 2019 21:20:06 (#382 of 384)

That one where Keanu Reeves escapes a nuclear explosion on a motorbike is on every week now.

The one where Harrison Ford escapes a nuclear explosion in a fridge is on fairly regularly too.

breakfast - 01 Aug 2019 21:42:06 (#383 of 384)

Baywatch the movie is on Film 4 RIGHT NOW.

Shadrack22 - 06 Aug 2019 18:47:30 (#384 of 384)

Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason.

Saturday 10 August, 22.35 on ITV1.
