You're welcome.

I only just noticed as well.

From charity to crisps! The first series was funny. More please.

goody goody gumdrops.

cheers PP x - I'd seen this was on, but then forgotten.

although I saw him live once and it was terrible, even he seemed to think it was dreadful - he spent the first 40mins being heckled by someone who expected him to tell jokes, with immediate punchlines. The heckler was eventually heckled out.

PrimePaon - 04 May 2011 22:11:16 (#4 of 2182)

I saw him when he had the Saturday midnight spot at one of the 90's muddy Glastonburys. The last comedian had just been pelted off stage with cups of mud. He managed to win the drunken, off its tits crowd round in seconds!

Pinkgum - 04 May 2011 22:17:34 (#5 of 2182)

I would expect that he would - I've loved him long time:)

This was at a theatre, on his last tour, uncomfortable all round tbh, with a heckler who confused emigrant with immigrant and called him on it!

PrimePaon - 04 May 2011 22:18:34 (#6 of 2182)

oops!

I might have to catch it later on iPlayer, Invincible on BBC1 is looking very tempting.

StripeyCat - 04 May 2011 23:31:53 (#7 of 2182)

This is good, hilariously pedantic, stuff.

StripeyCat - 05 May 2011 00:03:13 (#8 of 2182)

For a few minutes there "Stewart Lee" was trending on Twitter.

It was mostly caused by people saying they either couldn't understand it or didn't get why it was on so late, but it was great anyway.

PrimePaon - 05 May 2011 00:12:43 (#9 of 2182)

Thoroughly enjoyable grinathon.

urbanspacemonkey - 05 May 2011 00:17:16 (#10 of 2182)

Its on late as many people don't understand it.

StripeyCat - 05 May 2011 00:18:37 (#11 of 2182)

And not very smart people go to bed early.

The best joke was Armando's, at the end...

Elsie69 - 05 May 2011 09:32:10 (#14 of 2182)

liked the stuff about not being able to do a mixed ability room

CaptainBlack - 05 May 2011 09:36:51 (#15 of 2182)

Dunno, can't help wondering if it's all a bit up its own arse.

Elsie69 - 05 May 2011 10:02:35 (#16 of 2182)

I think that is part of the appeal.

Alazon said it much better than me.

jamalade - 05 May 2011 10:48:45 (#19 of 2182)

I have just come across Lee. Is it worth watching series one?

PrimePaon - 05 May 2011 10:51:39 (#20 of 2182)

No. It's like Jim Bowen meets Eddie Murphy.
