There may be a need for this thread now that time-shifted TV is the norm.

So, tonight, I am sitting here, planning a route through The Orville, Designated Survivor, the Gifted and possibly catching up on Madame Secretary.

Got to be The Orville first. With beer. Then Madame Secretary, with more beer, to aid in the contemplation of Tea Leonie's frozen face.

You?

Well you could at least help me out of the gutter, nat.

Shadrack22 - 12 Jan 2018 20:25:06 (#7 of 48)

You could drink some Orval whilst watching The Orville.

Alternatively The Good Old Days is on BBC4 right now.

Flying the blimp at the hockey this evening will get home at about 10 pm and as we are likely to get hammered I will drink wine and watch youtube funnies to restore my broken spirit.

#6. V. Good. Wait a bit while I think of a suitably acerbic reply.

I’ve binge-watched almost the whole of the last two series of Homeland. I don’t know what I’ll do with my life when it’s over.

Pentecost - 12 Jan 2018 20:45:33 (#12 of 48)

If your life is over you won't have to worry.

Flicker - 12 Jan 2018 20:47:38 (#13 of 48)

It’s true. Or pay my bills or be subjected to any more crap television.

Verdigris - 12 Jan 2018 20:59:27 (#14 of 48)

Epilogue.

I'm binge watching Mad Men for the first time and I'm only on season five. I am greatly enjoying Offred and wondering why so many people have a pash on the whiney, capricious oaf Don D. I understand he gets a bit more Christian Grey in later seasons but still.

Flicker - 12 Jan 2018 21:04:52 (#16 of 48)

Draper is a slimey swine.

Innogen - 12 Jan 2018 21:06:31 (#17 of 48)

Isn't he though! The women are much more fanciable.

Flicker - 12 Jan 2018 21:10:27 (#18 of 48)

Betty is gorgeous. Joan gets on my nerves and Peggy annoys me. Don’t even get me started on Meeegan.

Innogen - 12 Jan 2018 21:42:56 (#19 of 48)

Is Megan doing her cute bisou dance in your Room 101?

moto748 - 12 Jan 2018 21:48:17 (#20 of 48)

I never took to Mad Men.

I'm subsisting on a thin gruel of Murdoch Mysteries (I have a zillion of them on series link) and am enjoying S1 of Mr Robot, years after everyone else.

I really liked American Gods, but I gather they only made one series (so far?)?

On actual TV nothing really, expect Spiral and MotD tomorrow.
