History is a lie we must QUESTION EVERYTHING, space is FAKE, everything NASA shows you is BS/Indoctrination/Brainwashing I HOPE YOU WAKE UP AND SPREAD THE WORD!! This truth MUST reach a critical mass!

THE EARTH IS FLAT!! RESEARCH IT FOR YOURSELF I KNOW IT SOUNDS INSANE THAT'S WHAT I THOUGHT TOO WHEN I FIRST HEARD THIS THEN I LOOKED INTO IT AND NEVER WENT BACK, ONCE YOU GO FLAT YOU NEVER GO BACK, DO NOT TRUST ANY INFORMATION COMING FROM THE FLAT EARTH SOCIETY, THEY ARE DISINFORMATION/MISINFORMATION. INSTEAD GO TO THE INTERNATIONAL FLAT EARTH RESEARCH SOCIETY RAN BY ERIC DUBAY, READ THE BOOK "200 PROOFS EARTH IS NOT A SPINNING BALL. "

And yet to be viewed btw, I'll report back.

As mentioned on the Netflix thread - Behind The Curve, the incredible world of Flat Earthers.

Also recently enjoyed; The Inventor: Out For Blood in Silicon Valley. HBO Doc about Elizabeth Holmes although actually I think the podcast The Dropout on the same subject is better, but here you get to see Holmes IRL.

The Night in Question. Louis Theroux investigates US campus rapes, focussing in particular on a recently acquitted man. It's hard not to jump to conclusions, Louis does a good job of giving someone enough rope here. On iplayer.

Aaargh, looks like I'm on the wrong track. Still, a Flat Earth double header, job's a good 'un!

Have you found another one phantlers? I could watch them all day long. I want to see more of Math Power Land in particular who would only take part in the Netflix one if they paid him $5,000 and confirmed his theory that Mark Sargeant is an actor paid by Paramount.

INTERNATIONAL FLAT EARTH RESEARCH SOCIETY RAN BY ERIC DUBAY,

He's the one who reckons Adolf was a good guy smeared by Zionists, isn't he?

#5 - Yes, search for the title as I pasted it and check the running time - no idea what it's like yet.

#6 - dunno but if it moves in that direction it will soon get binned off.

It looks like a You Tube live stream. I know because of that Netflix doc that they upload thousands of videos a year, they are prolific, as they must be because if they stopped talking for even a minute they'd have to let some light in and that would be the end.

lammaMia - 07 Apr 2019 17:37:07 (#9 of 42)

Inventor is on my list. I didn't know about the Elizabeth Holmes podcast. Cheers.

Loving the Ken Burns docs on Netflix, as suggested by nolongerstumpy.

Vietnam, Civil War and just finishing The West. Really very good, and I noticed something I like: he uses primary sources a lot - letters and writings of people who had direct knowledge of the events.

Snarlygog - 08 Apr 2019 09:43:44 (#11 of 42)

The Jazz one is good as well.

fenderstrat - 08 Apr 2019 09:51:04 (#12 of 42)

Is that a Ken Burns one, snarly?

lammaMia - 08 Apr 2019 12:45:42 (#13 of 42)

His New York city doc is also a people's history of the colonies and the US without the Pilgrim myth.

Loving the Ken Burns docs on Netflix

They've become my comfort viewing. I've watched some docs on Netflix recently and far too many of them have the annoying 'coming up...' shite to keep you watching:

"Coming up on The Renaissance! We'll see how Da Vinci invented the helicopter, how Boccaccio redefined storytelling, and how Michaelangelo broke his nose in a childhood fight!"

fenderstrat - 08 Apr 2019 13:29:03 (#15 of 42)

Mamma - what’s the title of that?

Agaliarept - 08 Apr 2019 13:37:49 (#16 of 42)

Loving the Ken Burns docs on Netflix, as suggested by nolongerstumpy.

I've also been championing them around these here parts. So far I've watched The Dust Bowl, The Vietnam War, The Civil War and I'm just working through The West.

For me these are the best thing about Netflix.

thisonehasalittlehat - 08 Apr 2019 13:39:01 (#17 of 42)

Is this a simpsons thing I'm not getting?

Agaliarept - 08 Apr 2019 13:40:21 (#18 of 42)

Excellent.

lammaMia - 08 Apr 2019 13:51:43 (#19 of 42)

Fender, it's called New York: A Documentary Film. Burns sorely needs click-bait titles.

fenderstrat - 08 Apr 2019 14:11:10 (#20 of 42)

Ta, la.
