So, I completed episode 2 last night.

Arjuna - 10 Jun 2019 07:36:49 (#2 of 18)

Is this a competition?

diomu_II - 10 Jun 2019 18:40:20 (#3 of 18)

You want to kill people who've been watching a series called "Eve binge"?

foxybrown - 10 Jun 2019 20:57:39 (#4 of 18)

Thank you for starting.

I’m half way through the last episode, but I can’t really say much on here if you’ve only on number 2. I’ve enjoyed it but it doesn’t have the relentless pace of S1

Natascha - 10 Jun 2019 21:30:50 (#5 of 18)

No, you can, Foxy. I'm on episode six now and I'm putting it away for a bit.

Natascha - 10 Jun 2019 21:31:33 (#6 of 18)

Yeah, it is a bit too slow; too many meaningful looks and long glances into dark places. Still good, though but a bit difficult second album.

Sewnsew - 10 Jun 2019 22:24:45 (#7 of 18)

Just watched episode 3 and we’re loving it.

Natascha - 11 Jun 2019 18:02:20 (#8 of 18)

Well. Just watched the last episode, of this series only I hope. There was a certain ... symmetry.

Natascha - 11 Jun 2019 18:23:06 (#9 of 18)

Anyway, good news - It's been renewed for series 3.

Ta Natascha.

I finished it yesterday but I hated the ending, a huge yawn. The series lost its way in the last two or three episodes

Natascha - 11 Jun 2019 21:34:43 (#11 of 18)

Oh! I thought it got better for the second half - not that I thought it was bad in the first half.

Bromio - 13 Jun 2019 13:03:12 (#12 of 18)

If it hadn't been for the first season then season two would have been universally praised. It does suffer from not having PWB writing but was probably saved by having her producing.

fogger - 13 Jun 2019 22:29:14 (#13 of 18)

Finished it tonight. Really enjoyed the final three episodes.

Think S2 suffers in comparison to S1 by not being as zippy, and lacking in set-pieces, and having plots that fizzle out (the Ghost, Niko/Eve), and not (obviously) being so fresh. But at the same time it's evolved into something different, and I loved it.

Ghanny - 16 Jun 2019 23:16:14 (#14 of 18)

Just finished it. Thought it better than series one which got a bit too silly for me.

YogiMeerfield - 20 Jun 2019 12:02:42 (#15 of 18)

Watched the final episode last night. Liked the symmetry with the ending to series 1. Overall, it was entertaining. But like the first series, not particularly memorable.

carterbrandon - 20 Jun 2019 13:03:27 (#16 of 18)

Liked the symmetry with the ending to series 1.

I'm pretty sure you've just told me the ending.

levelgaze - 20 Jun 2019 13:05:04 (#17 of 18)

See thread header...

If the first season was mildly cartoonish, the second is full on Tex Avery.
