Economist, LRB, Investors Chronicle, Private Eye, Fortean Times, Viz, National Geographic

Presumably still enough left over for a bottle of fizzy water and a bar of chocolate

DesEsseintes - 11 Aug 2019 22:51:04 (#2 of 102)

Ones about horses and trains, and a copy of the Morning Star, if they sell it nowadays.

Mrs Ming used to get a sent a magazine from the Library Association once a month: called The Information or something. Really good, easily digestible stuff on DPP, search engines, new trends in web design etc., with occasional quirky pieces about the philosophy of truth, or information taxonomy in Aztec culture etc. Ive often looked out for it in newsagents since, but never seen it. I don't think it's generally available - more's the pity

YorenInTheNorth - 11 Aug 2019 22:52:29 (#4 of 102)

Second Private Eye. Would probably go for a few politcal and science ones after that.

Pixiedust - 11 Aug 2019 22:54:58 (#5 of 102)

Private Eye, The Economist, New Statesman, New Internationalist, Bunty.
