The Capture

Latest BBC political/detective TV thriller, based around faking CCTV footage (it seems) for nefarious purposes.

Just watched the first 2 episodes on iPlayer. It's great and v. intriguing so far. But we've seen that with many UK 6-part TV mystery dramas before: they start off really well but then dissolve into a crazy, completely implausible mess by the conclusion. Here's hoping that this one can stay strong to the end for a change.

A certain well-known US movie actor has suddenly appeared right at the end of ep. 2. Don't know if that bodes well or not for the way this is going to unfold.

It has suddenly got a bit weird. I'm finding the lead very convincing as a soldier. Actually, is he still a soldier?

Electro2 - 18 Sep 2019 22:14:11 (#6 of 9)

Deep-voiced Ron Perlman.

It's fucking bollocks.
