Too Old to Die Young (Amazon Prime).

I've long been a fan of Nicolas Winding Refn ever since the days of his Pusher trilogy. It starts off in LA with some cops involved in a shoot-out with some Mexicans. The pace is slow but doubtless if will pick up I'm thinking. It doesn't. If anything it slows down making the second episode barely watchable. Each ep is 1hr 30 and there are ten of them. Like all Refn's work it's heavily stylised making it certainly good to look at and rest assured, you'll have plenty of time to look.

Quite enjoyed Amazon Prime's The Boys even though it did have a faint whiff of Seth Rogan/fanboy geekiness about it. Thought I was completely sick of superheroes but this breathed a bit of life back into the genre. Also Antony Starr as the vile Homelander is an excellent, hissable villain!

City on the Hill (AP) is pretty good, too. It's loosely based on the police corruption scandal that engulfed Boston in the early nineties. Kevin Bacon hams it up but otherwise it's sound.
