Alot of good stuff that's only just been in the cinema

Stan and Laurie is next on my list

Some good original series like Bosch and Goliath.

HouseOfLametta - 29 Oct 2019 11:15:06 (#3 of 22)

Stan and Laurie?

Stan Laurel and Hugh Laurie star in this heartwarming tale of a cynical hospital doctor and his sidekick who falls over a lot.

Bribaba - 29 Oct 2019 11:24:47 (#4 of 22)

Narcos is still my favourite series on Prime.

FrankieTeardrop - 29 Oct 2019 11:26:16 (#5 of 22)

It was on Netflix

I watched Serenity the other day. I'm still not sure what to make of it. I thoroughly enjoyed hating it. It's like eating a very hot curry. Painful, but for some reason you can't stop.

This the barmy Matthew McConnaghey film? I liked it. Beware though the recent flick he made with Harmony Khorine - it is appalling.

Antimatter - 29 Oct 2019 19:07:20 (#8 of 22)

I do not like Amazon, and I do not like Amazon prime, so will not be watching.

Arjuna - 29 Oct 2019 19:11:36 (#9 of 22)

is this a thread to talk about parcels?

tasselhoff - 29 Oct 2019 19:29:42 (#10 of 22)

One-day delivery!

Fuck off

TommyDGNR8 - 29 Oct 2019 19:40:05 (#11 of 22)

My free-delivery-over-£20 parcels invariably arrive within 48 hours for most of the year. I take the Prime month trial in November/December each year because it slows down in the festive season, but the extras don't entice me to maintain a subscription.

Zugunruhe1 - 29 Oct 2019 19:59:51 (#12 of 22)

I think I read somewhere that Reds is coming to Prime next month. I've only seen it once and that was back in the mid 80s.

Bump.

bossab2 - 23 Mar 2020 12:51:13 (#15 of 22)

Still working fine.

YouGotTheMoney - 23 Mar 2020 12:55:13 (#16 of 22)

good omens (although that was recently on the beeb too, I believe), preacher (fun but fairly gory), mr robot (I have yet to catch up with seasons three and four, but seasons one and two were pretty good), the expanse (best sci-fi currently out there, IMO)

Electro2 - 23 Mar 2020 15:37:17 (#17 of 22)

One of the our biggest bugbears when it comes to Prime Video looks to have finally been addressed. Amazon has added the ability to set up profiles for different family members and/or users. https://is.gd/8OdKTn

MorrisMitchener - 23 Mar 2020 20:25:29 (#18 of 22)

Watching Hunters. I'll keep up with it cos I'm nearly at the end. It's really pretty distasteful. Plus, (although I hasten to point out here that I do not like Nazis!) I find the 1 dimensional depictions of them to be really quite dull and boring.

They Are Nazis And Are Monsters And That's It.

But Nazis aren't/weren't Monsters. There are no Monsters. They were people who did terrible evil but still people. Depicting them as if they're Great White Sharks is just lazy.

George Freeman - one of the still extant non-Johnsonian Tory MPs has called for a government of national unity and for Keir Starmer (when he is annointed) to be given senior place at COBRA meetings and at cabinet.

Not an MP with a great track record on things like equalities but in this he at least has a point.

He's also asked that Starmer be present at No 10 press briefings which will go down like a bucket of cold sick with Johnson.

Electro2 - 24 Mar 2020 07:13:03 (#20 of 22)

Who's playing Starmer?
