Marr marred?

I jolly well hope so.

FredDee - 15 Jul 2020 16:10:19 (#2 of 14)

my own assumption was that the BBC Charter had been altered to insist that Brillo MUST be on AT LEAST ONE political talking heads show PER WEEK.

ReverendBlueJeans - 15 Jul 2020 16:32:58 (#3 of 14)

I think Lying Git Tory Nick Robinson should go before Brillo. At least the beefy-faced one is capable of grilling people of all viewpoints, even if we know where he stands.

While no Brillo fan, if he's being axed because the Tories were pissed off that he humiliated no-show Johnson, it's a dangerous state of affairs.

To be replaced by Clive Tyldesley is the rumour.

nemo75 - 15 Jul 2020 17:42:42 (#6 of 14)

Can’t we finally get rid of the dreadful Laura Kissybum?

Shadrack22 - 15 Jul 2020 17:52:23 (#7 of 14)

-10

Was sure this would be a Bossab thread.

nemo75 - 15 Jul 2020 18:36:52 (#8 of 14)

Nah. Too focussed on the World.

carterbrandon - 15 Jul 2020 20:06:58 (#9 of 14)

Will he be replaced by a prominent historian, a small jar of fish paste, the gear level from a Morris Minor... or DIANE ABBOT!!!!!

CaptainBlack - 15 Jul 2020 20:23:01 (#10 of 14)

Well, Andwew ...

FleurDuMal - 16 Jul 2020 13:07:19 (#11 of 14)

I think he’ll be replaced by this little girl:

The ending of This Week chaired by Andrew Neal, after some time of being shifted around BBC1 Thursday night schedules and yet still retaining viewers, was a blow for nicely combined flippant and serious political coverage. Some programme line-ups were wonderful, others less so when the chemistry wasn't right.

The fillers used, for whatever motives, to replace its departure have never looked or sounded like anything in its league. Panel shows of nothing-specials ostensibly discussing some recurring organising theme, have amounted to the easily-missable.

According to chatter on the Media Show, the cuntpalace may be refloated.

There was something about This Week, it was bonkers. I can’t see/ hear Liz Kendall now without remembering her whining to reggae played by David Rodigan.
