New model house

Come and smize here

foxybrown - 29 Jan 2019 23:40:13 (#901 of 945)

This runway leads straight back to Bravo on March 14th! Get your first look at @KarlieKloss, @CSiriano, and company as they make it fashion on the all-new #ProjectRunway. bravo.ly/2B9r5dw

No Heidi, Tim Gunn or Michael Kors, everybody looks gone

KittyKarateRedux - 30 Jan 2019 13:20:37 (#902 of 945)

I think Heidi and Tim are off to Amazon to do a fashion show that will almost act as a look-book for Amazon Wardrobe.

foxybrown - 14 Mar 2019 21:07:38 (#903 of 945)

There’s some kind of ANTM for make up artists on bbc3 , presented by Stacey Dooley.

KittyKarateRedux - 01 May 2019 15:46:43 (#904 of 945)

So I watched that 'Glow Up' with Stacey.

What is it with all those illusion makeups? Why did one girl do a makeup look with string that made her model look like she had MEGA nose hair?

I really didn't get on with the judge who kept going "DING DONG" when she was happy.

All in all, it was an ok show though.

KittyKarateRedux - 01 May 2019 15:55:05 (#905 of 945)

The next season of Project Runway is only streaming in the UK on Hayu (home of the Kardashians) so I probably won't be watching it any time soon. Hopefully it'll slide onto Lifetime or E! eventually.

foxybrown - 01 May 2019 21:50:27 (#906 of 945)

Oh fudge, first UNreal and now Project Runway. These bloody streaming channels. Hopefully I'll see a marathon when I go to the West Indies in the summer.

I enjoyed Glow, yes the female judge was desperately trying to get a catchphrase.

The girl who got to the final by default was useless

foxybrown - 01 May 2019 21:52:27 (#907 of 945)

Mind you the next series of PR has no Tim Gunn, or Heidi and all new judges incl Christian Siriano so god knows what it will be like

KittyKarateRedux - 02 May 2019 08:26:38 (#908 of 945)

The Heidi/Tim Amazon series is supposed to being filmed this summer - all these streaming services really piss me off to be honest, as they hardly ever sell their own content on to terrestrial/satellite services.

I think UNreal may show up on satellite, I don't think the it is filmed/owned by Amazon, and previous series have shown up on Lifetime despite being on Amazon first.

foxybrown - 03 May 2019 05:32:31 (#909 of 945)

I am with agreement with you. I already pay shedloads to Sky, I’m refuse to payout to Netflix, Amazon, btsport and now heyu to see one show on each platform at best

I must check my sky box for UNreal again, a quick google says it’s was a Lifetime show. Was, as it's been cancelled

KittyKarateRedux - 03 May 2019 08:43:46 (#910 of 945)

I think the UK is 'owed' at least 1 more series of UnReal. Which was the last one you saw? Was it the Black Bachelor (S2), or Lady Techie Bacherlorette (S3)?

foxybrown - 04 May 2019 03:30:43 (#911 of 945)

Black batchelor, I thought that was S3

Whatever I googled said S4 was only 8 episodes and was the last

foxybrown - 15 Jan 2020 19:44:37 (#912 of 945)

Sadly, I’m never going to see Unreal.

And this neither- Making The Cut on Amazon prime Heidi Klum, Tim Gunn, Naomi Campbell and Nicole Richie judges on a seemingly Project Runway copycat

As Christian Siriano and Karlie Kloss now present PR, which hasn’t appeared on Sky

KittyKarateRedux - 16 Jan 2020 08:20:34 (#913 of 945)

Ah PR is on bloody HAYU. Surely all these competing content networks can't continue? I guess I could surf the free trials to watch it next time I've got time off.

Amazon has stopped dishing out so many free trials these days, or I'd suggest you held out until March for when the Gunn/Klum thing starts and have a binge month.

foxybrown - 16 Jan 2020 13:57:41 (#914 of 945)

Yes and Sky doesn't seem to be getting many of these programmes either, its crazy to be subscribing to all these things. Im about to break and get Netflix

KittyKarateRedux - 22 May 2020 13:08:53 (#915 of 945)

Whatever happened to * Next Top Model shows? I miss them so much.

I've been watching Amazon's attempt at Project Runway (Making the Cut). It's alright. In some ways it works better - it's no longer a shamateur competition, everyone on it is already a semi or fully professional designer. There is a seamstress service who do the sewing overnight on the challenges, so sewing skills do not have to be top of the line (but having some skills is DEFINITELY helpful). You have to wonder how much Amazon selling the winning clothes changes who actually gets through. Tim and Heidi are a delight as ever. They have a new magazine editor judge Carine Roitfeld (or at least in the first few episodes) who has resting 'I can smell a fart face' when watching the clothes. Naomi Campbell has shown up as a friend of Heidi on the judging panel - at one point she was shushed for being too rude about the clothes on the runway in case everyone heard.

When Glow Up gets close to a finish on BBC 3 I'll make a start on that. I hated Ding Dong woman.

StakludKar - 22 May 2020 20:46:27 (#916 of 945)

Naomi Campbell is 50 (but has she got Old Knees?)

foxybrown - 23 May 2020 17:44:05 (#917 of 945)

I've seen one of the new Glow Up its a poor substitute

Tyra Banks got some heat a couple of weeks ago as the old ANTMs were revisited, particularly Danielle and her gap teeth

I remember when Naomi was at least a year older than me, now she's 2 months younger.

DejaLu - 23 May 2020 18:53:17 (#918 of 945)

I’ve noticed Naomi getting younger, too!

foxybrown - 27 Mar 2021 12:47:20 (#919 of 945)

Resurrecting the thread - I've just started Next in Fashion on Netflix. Seemingly a poor man's Project Runway with Alexander Chingford who's legs are like twigs and some bloke with a grey quiff. Anyone else watched?

KittyKarateRedux - 27 Mar 2021 14:09:02 (#920 of 945)

Not watched, but will find it!
