But first, were folks aware that Nicholas Courtney died earlier this month?

Damn shame; good night, Brigadier.

Red Nose Day Who.

Women drivers, eh? In their skirts and that? Hoho.

Hmm. But, nice story teaser.

Part two. In true CPDW tradition it doesn't live up to the promise of part one.

More bad news for fans of classic Who - The Celestial Toys have been put away. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-12772355

I just caught the specials on youtube, thanks for putting up the link womble

Very much looking forward to it. Last season it was genuinely can't wait a week until the next episode telly.

I can't wait to see how many call-backs he makes to stuff from last season. There are some things he left dangling, and I'm dying to find out which ones mean something.

"I just caught the specials on youtube, thanks for putting up the link womble"

I'm sure Womble would have put links up had I not beaten him to it.

womble - 23 Mar 2011 23:08:22 (#7 of 15533)

How very true.

OneOfOne - 24 Mar 2011 07:34:56 (#8 of 15533)

my bad, it was a long day

Sugartits - 24 Mar 2011 08:36:21 (#9 of 15533)

Apparently, Neil Gaiman has written a Dr Who episode

TommyDGNR8 - 24 Mar 2011 08:44:48 (#10 of 15533)

That was announced last year, wasn't it? Michael Sheen's going to be in that episode; one thing I've been a bit uncomfortable with in the New Who Universe is their stunt casting tendency.

Sugartits - 24 Mar 2011 08:45:58 (#11 of 15533)

Dunno - just seen it on Twitter

OneOfOne - 24 Mar 2011 08:52:10 (#12 of 15533)

Mark Sheppard is in it too, apparently. Is that the first Who/Battlestar crossover, or did I miss one already?

The guy who plays Baltar would be brilliant in Who.

blaithin - 24 Mar 2011 09:48:56 (#13 of 15533)

Did anyone else see the tiny 5 second "Coming Soon" teaser on BBC1 at about 9ish? I may have squealed with excitement. I certainly jumped up and down and clapped.

OneOfOne - 24 Mar 2011 09:49:51 (#14 of 15533)

Gah, I missed it. Wonder if it's on youtube? >>>> goes to check

this might be the five second one

blaithin - 24 Mar 2011 09:56:21 (#17 of 15533)

Yes. Clearly longer than 5 seconds! 10 perhaps. But like I said, I was jumping.

The longer trailer is very exciting. Lovely River.

Sugartits - 24 Mar 2011 11:17:34 (#18 of 15533)

The longer trailer is fan-made

OneOfOne - 24 Mar 2011 11:18:20 (#19 of 15533)

ah so, very nice.
