http://news.sky.com/home/uk-news/article/16099015

So:

  • Kiddly fiddler?
  • Corpse toucher?
  • Other? (please specify)
  • All of the above?

Saville shagging corpses thing remains an online rumour only. They must know more at Leeds.

I thought that had become far more than a rumour.

AdonisBlue - 05 Nov 2021 21:19:47 (#17180 of 17320)

Has it? I've never read anything official saying he shagged corpses. Just on here. I might have missed it though.

FleurDuMal - 05 Nov 2021 21:43:21 (#17181 of 17320)

There’s been stories around Leeds for decades about that.

moto748 - 05 Nov 2021 21:56:24 (#17182 of 17320)

Yes, but no proven cases? Didn't the idea of Savile and corpses largely come from one determined poster on JTT?

AdonisBlue - 05 Nov 2021 21:59:16 (#17183 of 17320)

That's the only place I've read it. Nothing official. But as I say if Leeds hospital have changed procedures it sounds possibly real to me.

Not a URL you see every day.

AdonisBlue - 05 Nov 2021 22:19:21 (#17186 of 17320)

He boasted about it and even made rings out of corpse glass eyes?! One witness said they wandered off half way throigh his boasting.

The way he constantly talked shit about himself meant people ignored the horrible truth he was shoving in their faces.

HouseOfLametta - 05 Nov 2021 22:29:38 (#17187 of 17320)

Only because they were dead.

JohnIlly - 05 Nov 2021 22:52:47 (#17188 of 17320)

Jimmy Savile told hospital staff he interfered with patients' corpses

Did he always tell the truth?

Tenesmus - 06 Nov 2021 01:10:39 (#17189 of 17320)

Now and then.

FredDee - 10 Nov 2021 15:08:24 (#17190 of 17320)

Just caught up with the latest Private Eye.

( At the time of posting another issue has been published. )

Anyway seems that back in the Sixties the Royal Marines designed a course to see if civilians could actually complete it on time.

Guess who did complete it. So they called him 'one of our own' and had various pictures taken with him and so on. After his death there was a desperate attempt to physically destroy all such evidence.

They even succeeded.

Delighted_User - 10 Nov 2021 18:50:06 (#17191 of 17320)

This is from the first hit on "Jimmy Savile" "Royal Marines", from the Daily Mail:

Police are investigating claims that the television personality Jimmy Savile abused children at the Royal Marines' main training camp in Devon. ... Savile had close ties to the Royal Marines for more than 40 years and was awarded an honorary Green Beret for completing a timed speed march on Dartmoor.

What exactly has been hidden?

BasilSeal - 10 Nov 2021 18:52:36 (#17192 of 17320)

I'm guessing they no longer have his photo up in the regimental mess.

ChankNolen - 11 Nov 2021 08:49:34 (#17193 of 17320)

I suppose it made a change from abusing each other:
