So:

- All of the above?
MENTAL!
I know people who go to ska and northern soul weekends. Meet up with people they haven’t seen for a while.
Not forgetting the Club 18-30 reunions, where they could relive their alcohol-fuelled summers of date rape and third-degree sunburn
I went to Rye for the day one Friday last year and the train down from London was packed with loads of tipsy forty and fifty somethings who were clearly going to a weekender type event at Camber Sands.
Surely Butlins at Bognor Regis is perfectly normal place for a 64 year old DJ to be gigging at?
GPWM.
Whilst not directly about noncery, Cookie Pryce makes a very good point in the last paragraph;

When I used to go to Rye from London I liked to go through to Hastings and change there. OK it takes a bit longer that changing at Ashford but it's still more pleasant.

Thats the UK Independence Party's Morris Dancing Association annual week-end
Since the documentary aired last night Ms Sunshine claims, several more women have contacted her to about new allegations of abuse by Westwood.
She added: “As of last night, with the documentary coming through I have five more women in my DMs with new stories.”

Sun Reporter says ( in the Guardian ) that libel laws protected Saville :
https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/apr/28/jimmy-savile-escaped-justice-because-of-libel-laws-claims-reporter
I watched the Westwood doc on iPlayer last night (it's half hour). It's quite disturbing. He's clearly a f***ing c*nt.
The Sun attempted to expose Jimmy Savile as a paedophile while he was still alive – only to have to back down because of Britain’s tough libel laws
They did not worry about them after Hillsborough and on numerous other occasions. Jimmy may have used libel laws to protect himself but they are also handy to reign in the worst elements of the press.
The relatives of the Hillsborough victims did not have the funds to support lawyers.
The Murdoch media group didn't have the money to combat fucking Savile's lawyers? Don't make me laugh. This is a transparent attack on limitations on the Press to publish what the fuck they want.
Ever since the first high-profile libel case, when the most famous pirate in history – Captain Morgan – won £200 in damages (£40,000 today) in the 17th century for being accused of being a cruel buccaneer, our defamation laws have protected wrongdoers
Even this claim is dubious. Morgan had an excellent case. He had been a privateer working on licence from the crown and at the time of the famed case was governor of Jamaica.
Kevin Spacey charged by the CPS.
Don't think he'll be returning to his Hollywood career anytime soon.
