yes I did, I've got 11 pages of stats, I listened to 140 hours of music

FrankieTeardrop - 06 Dec 2018 15:45:28 (#2 of 29)

"What were your top tracks?"

At a guess - Sabre Dance, by Katchachurian, or He Miss Road by Fela Kuti. Both get several listens a day, at the request of Teardroplet.

Peacock - 06 Dec 2018 15:47:57 (#3 of 29)

madonna - don't tell me (top track)

dreams99 - 06 Dec 2018 15:50:35 (#4 of 29)

I don't spotify, but my last.fm rankings have Belle and Sebastian's Allie as the top track for the last year.

TommyDCMBR8 - 06 Dec 2018 16:01:32 (#5 of 29)

"Who Needs You" by Loren Nine.

SheikYerbouti - 06 Dec 2018 16:01:52 (#6 of 29)

I don't know anything about this, but I did get a Miele.

darkhorse - 06 Dec 2018 16:07:52 (#7 of 29)

I daren't look. It'll be theme from Paw Patrol or some such soundtrack to my personal hell.

TRaney - 06 Dec 2018 16:09:17 (#8 of 29)

Yeah I had to scroll through about 35 songs before I reached one I’d played

FrankieTeardrop - 06 Dec 2018 16:12:24 (#9 of 29)

"It'll be theme from Paw Patrol or some such soundtrack to my personal hell."

If you are going to have to listen to a piece of music over and over again, at the request of toddlers, then you might as well make it a good piece of music...

...although there is the risk of a Ludovico technique style side effect.

darkhorse - 06 Dec 2018 16:17:02 (#10 of 29)

There is a Netflix programme called Beat Bugs, a cartoon with serviceable cover versions of Beatles songs.

This has upped their discernment a bit.

FrankieTeardrop - 06 Dec 2018 16:18:10 (#11 of 29)

I'd been trying to get Teardroplet into the Yellow Submarine film, but she has declared it "too scary".

darkhorse - 06 Dec 2018 16:19:38 (#12 of 29)

Too right! I saw it when I was seven or eight. Those Blue Meanies were terrifying.

My guys are not made of particularly stern stuff. Wallace and Gromit and the wererabbit sent the eldest fleeing to the safety of his room and the duvet.

FrankieTeardrop - 06 Dec 2018 16:20:36 (#13 of 29)

The scariest bit seemed to be when they are going through the Sea Of Time, and sprout long white hair and beards.

TRaney - 06 Dec 2018 16:20:57 (#14 of 29)

Especially when pronounced in a morose scouse accent

AshburtonAbove - 07 Dec 2018 16:29:31 (#15 of 29)

Is there a stat thingy for telling you how many times numerically you listened to a song?

Peacock - 07 Dec 2018 16:42:36 (#16 of 29)

Yes

AshburtonAbove - 07 Dec 2018 16:48:38 (#17 of 29)

how? I am curious.

Peacock - 07 Dec 2018 17:03:09 (#18 of 29)

I got an email which showed the annual listening stats

MontyPeculiar - 07 Dec 2018 17:40:24 (#19 of 29)

The email links to their site, which tells you total number of songs, total number of minutes, and top 100 tracks. But no data for individual tracks.

There are a couple of good sites here
