#1 The Goo Goo Dolls' one hit needy dirge.

Grazioli09 - 20 Jun 2022 16:23:08 (#2 of 164)

Anything by The Feeling

Grazioli09 - 20 Jun 2022 16:23:52 (#3 of 164)

Dancing in the Moonlight

TenGorillas - 20 Jun 2022 16:24:56 (#4 of 164)

Adele. Dreadful, moany droney voice. R 'n' B in general. All sounds totally blah to me.

DesEsseintes - 20 Jun 2022 16:28:11 (#5 of 164)

Wind of Change

Grazioli09 - 20 Jun 2022 16:29:05 (#6 of 164)

Ed Sheeran obviously

FrankieTeardrop - 20 Jun 2022 15:42:32 (#7 of 164)

ABBA

Queen

Bon Jovi

Anything else like that

DesEsseintes - 20 Jun 2022 16:42:42 (#8 of 164)

I don't think I've ever heard any Ed Sheeran.

Shadrack22 - 20 Jun 2022 16:47:22 (#9 of 164)

All ‘metal’ and ‘hard rock’

60s British ‘blues rock’ e.g. Ten Years After, Eric Clapton

It Wasn’t Me by Shaggy (no idea what the genre is).

Tadagee - 20 Jun 2022 16:50:28 (#10 of 164)

The top three worst acts that raise your hackles, set your teeth on edge, make you squirm, wriggle or reach for the off button.

in descending order

1. Jamiroquai

2. Jamiroquai

3. Jamiroquai

Lawlsie - 20 Jun 2022 16:55:19 (#11 of 164)

Anything by Queen and Elton John.

FeudalClink - 20 Jun 2022 16:57:06 (#12 of 164)

Christmas songs

Dementor - 20 Jun 2022 17:04:19 (#13 of 164)

Anything by Queen?

The first eight albums are pretty good - it was Flash Gordon, and focus shifting to synths over guitars where it all went downhill.

donttellhimpike - 20 Jun 2022 17:13:09 (#14 of 164)

Most of what passes as R&B I find unlistenable. I'm sure most of the stuff I listen to would sound just as awful to yer typical R&B fan. I don't assume me not liking something makes it bad per se, I'm just not the target audience. Might as well complain that most K-Pop bands don't speak to me as an Irish guy in his late fifties, I mean, why the fuck would they?

Tagyourit - 20 Jun 2022 17:17:31 (#15 of 164)

As a metal fan I do not like:

  • Nu-metal
  • Metalcore
  • Hair metal

As a keen proggist I'm not keen on

  • The Canterbury Scene
  • Yes
  • ELP
  • Syd Barrett era Floyd

I could happily do without hearing Coldplay, U2, trad jazz and Country & Western.

While I don't dislike a lot of English Folk music I much prefer American Folk.

ReverendBlueJeans - 20 Jun 2022 17:19:35 (#16 of 164)

Anything Shadrack22 affects to like.

Lawlsie - 20 Jun 2022 18:47:37 (#17 of 164)

Rap. It all sounds the same to me. Angry and threatening.

JohnIlly - 20 Jun 2022 17:50:09 (#18 of 164)

Rap = Crap

Considering how much great black pop music and jazz there has been in the past it is very disappointing.

solvognen - 20 Jun 2022 17:51:16 (#19 of 164)

I am ambivalent about Nails. I'm not familiar with 'Unsilent Death', however 'Abandon All Hope' while an interesting listen is probably all the Nails I need in my life, and follow-up album 'You Will Never Be One Of Us' is probably most useful when one's run out of paintstripper.

I'll let Towlie fill you in on the discography of Blackboard.
