Bob Greaves, Granada Reports stalwart, RIP.

Spontu - 15 Mar 2011 10:09:53 (#18 of 10752)

Bah! Beat me to it!

Gordon Burns is doing a tribute to him on BBC North West Tonight this evening.

When did he first arrive on Granada? He seemed to come to the fore after the lavishly-staffed Scene/Scene at 6.30 lot disappeared when I was still in short trousers. They included Mike Scott, Brian Trueman etc. who all went on to greater things

MaisonLazlique - 15 Mar 2011 10:10:51 (#19 of 10752)

Doig a tribute? with an elaborate steam powered back scratcher?

DavidT999 - 15 Mar 2011 10:14:57 (#20 of 10752)

He was also a journo on the Telegraph as well.
