Which buildings would you be most pleased to see burned down?

Obviously with no casualties.

Please do not mention if you are actually planning to burn down the building. May cause problems with insurance company and/or police.

Does this silence mean people are planning on burning all the buildings?

Rather an admirable lack of pyromania amongst us (or perhaps all the pyromaniacs are out celebrating the long weekend by indulging in their hobby.)

I'll have a go. How about... the suburbs.

Not all of them. Say, around half. To be rebuilt with sensible densities, amenities, that sort of thing.

Some of those shit new generic office skyscrapers in London. They’d make a great display.

Most postmodernist rubbish.

FGBFGB - 18 Apr 2019 22:22:43 (#6 of 58)

And neoclassical pastiche: Terry 's Richmond Riverside, Poundbury, etc etc.

If Prince Charles likes it, I'd be on my way with a can of Pink Parrafin and a box of Swan Vestas.

Things like this, which I walked past earlier.

I mean, what the fuck is that meant to look like? Overfussy Lego? It can’t even be bothered to be ugly.

This place's monitored by higher powers. Pyrophilia's not an excuse, FFS, to say you want to burn buildings.

Aside from no casualties let's assume no damage to important contents - so I have just, in the other thread, cited Dunelm House, the 1960s concrete monstrosity that used to house Durham Students' Union. I'd hate to see the union's paper records go up in flames, but if the building itself went ... hurrah!

Yersinia - 18 Apr 2019 23:35:59 (#12 of 58)

The MI6 Building in Vauxhall. And all the other vile shit like St George Wharf etc around Vauxhall.

Jacob_Richter - 18 Apr 2019 23:39:51 (#13 of 58)

Tommy Robinson's expensive Bedfordshire home.

Macpaddy - 19 Apr 2019 01:15:03 (#14 of 58)

#10. I quite liked a few of those.

Moschops - 19 Apr 2019 07:07:40 (#15 of 58)

The Walkie Talkie. Horrible, horrible building.

Catspyjamas17 - 19 Apr 2019 07:21:22 (#16 of 58)

The best view is from the top, as you can't see it.

I nominate The Tower Hotel, London.

You should try the EDL site, darkhorse I'm sure you will get plenty of suggestions there, you pathetic sick individual.

Why not chill out, bill, with this cheery tune which appears to be about a man expressing the desire to burn down (perhaps literally, perhaps metaphorically) his childhood home
