CARRY ON LUGGAGE

The premise of this one was that it was part one of a planned trilogy - the journey to the Costa Fortune beach resort which was supposed to be the venue for the scrapped sequels Carry On 18-30 and Carry On Syphilis.

Opening with half an hour of footage of Babs reaching up to close the overhead lockers and call every man o the flight "cheeky!", this one really was a barrel-scraper from the last days of the franchise.

The flight itself is uneventful until guest star Samuel L Jackson announces that he has had it with these motherfucking cases on this motherfucking plane and starts unpacking everyone's baggage. As unlikely-looking sex toys and questionable white substances start to fill the passenger compartment, Captain Kenneth Williams tries to calm the increasingly crazed Jackson but finds himself thrown to his death 35,000 ft (this is the famous "flying tonight!" scene).

Hilarity ensues as the hapless crew and half-clothed passengers spend the rest of the flight trying to coax the first officer out of the toilet in time to land the plane...
