Corbyn's Alleged(?) Anti-semetism

What form does it take, is it abuse of Jewish MPs, criticism of the State of Israel, or a diabolical plot by the capitalist press fearful of the prospect of a socialist PM?

It’s part and parcel of his devotion to Baphomet, the goat with three faces

Not sure this thread is going to survive although well done for hiding it in politics.

UK_Labour_Party

The all-party Home Affairs Select Committee held an inquiry into antisemitism in the United Kingdom in the same year and found "no reliable, empirical evidence to support the notion that there is a higher prevalence of antisemitic attitudes within the Labour Party than any other political party", but that the leadership's lack of action “risks lending force to allegations that elements of the Labour movement are institutionally antisemitic"

Make of that what you will.

Depends on whether the usual suspects find it.

A lot of the nastiness may have been the work of trolls.

'An investigation by The Electronic Intifada has documented 10 fake Twitter profiles posing as Corbyn supporters who have been posting virulent anti-Semitism.'

#5 and #7

Excellent and pertinent links - not least for the reason that I have posted them elsewhere!

#5 & 7 - Hear, hear!

That's always been my impression. Although I'm not by any stretch a Crobynista I do think the whole affair smacks of smearing by the press.

I know a lot of my fellow Jewish posters are convinced of his guilt and I do believe he has associated with some people with some rank opinions but I don't buy the accusations that he somehow agrees with every opinion of everyone he has ever met or spoken with just by having met them.

We taking electronicintifada as a fact-checked objective source of information re I/P, are we?

rgtstoppedcounting - 26 Feb 2019 12:06:59 (#13 of 82)

Next thing we'll be taking JVL as representative of a substantial proportion of British Jewish opinion rather than a minuscule sect of fanatical Jez Bunnies.

Oh.

mingmong - 26 Feb 2019 12:07:44 (#14 of 82)

Is the All Party Home Affairs Select Committee cited in #4 also part of the conspiracy, rgt?

rgtstoppedcounting - 26 Feb 2019 12:08:56 (#15 of 82)

You tell me ming, I'm not the one alleging conspiracies or diabolical plots, remember?

mingmong - 26 Feb 2019 12:09:05 (#16 of 82)

you are.

Moschops - 26 Feb 2019 12:10:56 (#17 of 82)

I thought it was his failure to tackle AS adequately in Labour rather than his own AS?

And labour are held to higher standards, as cuntishness is a selling point with the Tories.

LemonGrass - 26 Feb 2019 12:11:49 (#18 of 82)

#4 - From the link: "The neutrality of this article is disputed."

mingmong - 26 Feb 2019 12:15:47 (#19 of 82)

Do you think the quote from Home Affairs Select Committee is made up lemongrass?

rgtstoppedcounting - 26 Feb 2019 12:16:43 (#20 of 82)

I thought it was his failure to tackle AS adequately in Labour rather than his own AS?

Opinions differ, but common to +/- all is the observation that he gives extraordinarily generous ideological and sometimes personal leeway to antisemites, Zio-conspiracy fans and people who kill, or support the killing of Jews.
