Fairly relaxed about it myself. Last year being Gats last there was a desperate desire to go out on a high.

This year with a new coach with a very different style and injuries to the likes of Jon Davies and Liam Williams expectations aren't high, and i think there's an acceptance of transition. Plus England and Ireland away.

Think this might be the French year. All that attack now with Shaun Edwards coaching defence.

Yeah, I can't call it. Will England suffer a post-world-cup-high slump, as is usual? Will we be the reverse, with a new coach, sort of? Will Scotland be as Scotlandish as ever? No idea.

Will England suffer a post-world-cup-high slump

Didn't that happen during the actual final?

Moschops - 31 Jan 2020 09:49:25 (#4 of 699)

England will crush these uppity forrins and celts. As per usual

I was going to start a thread on this this morning. Thanks, tada.

What I love about the Six Nations is that it starts in February, so the first weekend is always damp, and grey, and chilly. At least one weekend there will be sleet, if not actual snow. By the end of it there will be one weekend where the pub has the telly in the beer garden and we're sitting out there in shirt sleeves.

It's good to see it's not just England players who get crocked in training. But that at least allows us to start a sweepstake on how long Faletau will last.

Before he want to Bath i dont think he had ever been injured.

cozzer - 31 Jan 2020 10:10:52 (#7 of 699)

That's cos he's now playing at a much higher standard.

Tadagee - 31 Jan 2020 10:55:11 (#8 of 699)

Guffaw!

In May 2012, Faletau was announced in the Wales squad for the three test series against Australia, but he had to withdraw from the squad after suffering a broken hand in the first test in Brisbane

Italy looking quite tidy with ball in hand.

Um, until they dropped it.

Tadagee - 01 Feb 2020 14:30:03 (#11 of 699)

Italy not looking quite as shit as usual.

Tadagee - 01 Feb 2020 14:48:54 (#12 of 699)

Wales beginning to run away with it.

mazylou - 01 Feb 2020 14:55:35 (#13 of 699)

That pass through his legs from Biggar was wonderful handling.

If picking a Lions 15 now Adams would have to be on one wing.

Tadagee - 01 Feb 2020 15:27:48 (#15 of 699)

2nd half very dull so far. Wales not creating much. Got to worry about the bonus point unless things pick up.

Tadagee - 01 Feb 2020 16:04:47 (#16 of 699)

Phew. BP secured. Impressed with Tomkins.

Tadagee - 01 Feb 2020 16:10:55 (#17 of 699)

42-0.

That'll do.

mazylou - 01 Feb 2020 16:15:47 (#18 of 699)

Good score.

cozzer - 01 Feb 2020 16:34:35 (#19 of 699)

Adam Hastings has the calls written on his left hand.

Tagyourit - 01 Feb 2020 16:37:24 (#20 of 699)

The teams are now being introduced to the Chief Leprechaun.
