Clashing blades!

TheValkyrie - 04 Apr 2021 15:56:36 (#2 of 50)

Go Hull!

Verdigris - 04 Apr 2021 16:00:36 (#3 of 50)

Come on, Tim!

DesEsseintes - 04 Apr 2021 16:00:48 (#4 of 50)

There is no fucking way they are social distancing in them boats.

Arjuna - 04 Apr 2021 16:01:42 (#5 of 50)

Always the same two teams in the final, so obvious that it is fixed.

DesEsseintes - 04 Apr 2021 16:02:45 (#6 of 50)

Send for the Met - shut them down, beat them up.

TheValkyrie - 04 Apr 2021 17:11:27 (#7 of 50)

Shocking. You could clearly see an outboard motor on the Cambridge boat.

They're fascist cunts, Cambridge - should be banned - next year it should be Oxford vs nobody.

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 18:57:02 (#10 of 50)

Eh???

Tadagee - 04 Apr 2021 19:05:35 (#11 of 50)

Indeed.

InternationalVicar - 04 Apr 2021 19:06:58 (#12 of 50)

Very good race, the real winner was East Anglia. Looked fantastic.

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 19:10:19 (#13 of 50)

What's your oar in the race, DesEsseintes? Or are you just a bit odd.

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 19:11:36 (#14 of 50)

It did look lovely. And if Hammersmith Bridge is still fucked next year, it should go somewhere near Oxford.

Moschops - 04 Apr 2021 19:12:09 (#15 of 50)

It's on the river that goes through Oxford every other year

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 19:13:09 (#16 of 50)

Well yes, but I meant off the main thames...obviously they train on the Cherwell, but maybe somewhere that side of the country.

InternationalVicar - 04 Apr 2021 19:21:17 (#17 of 50)

There isn't anywhere.

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 19:22:11 (#18 of 50)

My river knowledge is not good to be fair. The Severn maybe?

melpomene - 04 Apr 2021 19:23:42 (#19 of 50)

I'm still confused by DesEsseintes' hate though. Both are probably as bad as each other, if you have history with one, you support it, but he won't say. And there was something creepy about his comment on the womens' race.

InternationalVicar - 04 Apr 2021 19:24:05 (#20 of 50)

I suppose it's such a mad race you could change the rules willy-nilly. Make 'em jump out and fight, etc.
