Hello. You all talk too much.

I am busybusybusy. I got a good piece of work news though, so I'm also cheerful. And it's a bank holiday weekend.

I have received the offer letter from my fancy new job. Exciting!!! And they are going to let me keep the brand I've developed for my own company and somehow incorporate it under their umbrella, which I'm super chuffed about as I love it!

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 14:23:12 (#5 of 1731)

Very good news, congratulations.

slicey - 01 Jun 2018 14:37:18 (#6 of 1731)

Yes, great news Holly!

And congratulations to you, Sheikers!!! (a three ! congrats).

LippyPongstocking - 01 Jun 2018 14:38:37 (#7 of 1731)

Indeed, jubilations to both - and enjoy sleep while ye may, young Sheikers.

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 14:38:43 (#8 of 1731)

thanks, big fella. We're very pleased too. Even Michael is feeling relatively positive about things.

blaithin - 01 Jun 2018 14:49:41 (#9 of 1731)

Oh, I see your news elsewhere! Congratulations.

DejaLu - 01 Jun 2018 14:57:35 (#10 of 1731)

Congratulations, SheikhYerRattle!

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 14:58:44 (#11 of 1731)

Not SheikYerBaby.

DejaLu - 01 Jun 2018 14:59:14 (#12 of 1731)

Never, ever SheikhYerBaby.

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 14:59:17 (#13 of 1731)

That might be a bit much.

Ginmonkey - 01 Jun 2018 15:01:37 (#14 of 1731)

Congrats Sheik-may you embrace the world of Peppa Pig.

In other news - this kind of makes you despair of London and life in general -

How can this badly situated monstrosity be worth more that a four bed house with garden in better parts of London?

DejaLu - 01 Jun 2018 15:04:14 (#15 of 1731)

Well, it’s pretty hideous but many people would consider it very well situated.

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 15:04:22 (#16 of 1731)

I doubt it will sell. There are a lot of people out there fishing for naive overseas investors, of whom there are increasingly few.

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 15:05:13 (#17 of 1731)

Although with the tanking of the £ these places aren't as expensive for your average Malaysian dentist as they were.

Ginmonkey - 01 Jun 2018 15:07:56 (#18 of 1731)

I had no idea living about a crappy looking shopping centre on Ealing High street was so sought after.

SheikYerbouti - 01 Jun 2018 15:14:24 (#19 of 1731)

On an unrelated note, whenever I type the name of a public figure into Google, the first item in the google suggest is '... net worth'.

Is that a thing people are interested in? Is that how the click aggregators make their money, that and 'you'll never believe what ... looks like now'?

LippyPongstocking - 01 Jun 2018 15:26:51 (#20 of 1731)

<types 'Susan Tully' into Google images, just to see>
