Donald Duck – Trump Supporter

RoadRunner – Bernie supporter

Bagpuss was actually a socialist. James Bond's a sociopathic right-wing libertarian. Rhubarb was a Muppet. I can't even remember what Custard was like. That was a rubbish programme.

Bromio - 10 Jan 2019 02:02:35 (#3 of 90)

Bill & Ben - EDL

Miss Marple - Revolutionary Communist Party

god: pretty liberal; maybe a democratic-socialist.

machiavelli - 10 Jan 2019 05:46:10 (#5 of 90)

Mr Ben struck me as a political chamaeleon.

6to24characters - 10 Jan 2019 05:52:28 (#6 of 90)

I suspect that Mr Benn would be politically like Boris Johnson.

Two minutes in the back of the shop and he's dressed as a Leader but tomorrow he'll be a Remainer. He'll do anything to indulge his whims and he won't carry any responsibility for more than five minutes.

Sherlock Holmes - UKIP

TinyMcOtter - 10 Jan 2019 06:36:03 (#8 of 90)

Sherlock – Vehement Tory

Watson – Labour (but doesn't tell Sherlock)

HouseOfLametta - 10 Jan 2019 06:48:00 (#9 of 90)

Holmes’ affiliations, such as they would be, would be much weirder than that, tinged with orientalism and the occult. He’d hate “The Tories” even if he was right wing.

TinyMcOtter - 10 Jan 2019 06:48:59 (#10 of 90)

So, Nazi?

thisonehasalittlehat - 10 Jan 2019 07:31:35 (#11 of 90)

Danger mouse is a Tory. Let's face it most TV characters are Tories. Unless they're on itv.

HouseOfLametta - 10 Jan 2019 07:57:15 (#12 of 90)

A sort of nazi, I could imagine. He was quite egalitarian, though. He always in favour of Board Schools, sympathetic if not overly generous to the poor, women and foreigners. He was distainful of the government and the countryside. I think his political leanings would be Unfathomable, but manifest themselves as apathy.

FrankieTeardrop - 10 Jan 2019 08:02:51 (#13 of 90)

Mark Corrigan - Israel

Jeremy Usborne - Palestine

It makes it more fun when it’s a competition.

Agaliarept - 10 Jan 2019 08:36:55 (#14 of 90)

So, Nazi?

Volkisch surely?

TinyMcOtter - 10 Jan 2019 08:38:57 (#15 of 90)

Dangermouse – Green Party

SinnerBoy - 10 Jan 2019 09:57:33 (#16 of 90)

Dora the Explorer - Neo-Nazi

MrPurple - 10 Jan 2019 10:17:49 (#17 of 90)

Custard would probably like to describe himself as "a distruptor" - i.e. smart-arse bell-end/borderline sociopath. He would always be against the status quo.

He would probably now be living in the Ecuadorian Embassy.

Agaliarept - 10 Jan 2019 10:30:27 (#18 of 90)

Mr Tumble - UKIP.

TinyMcOtter - 10 Jan 2019 10:40:13 (#19 of 90)

Good point about Custard. He also had that annoying nasal geeky voice. Definitely an online alt-right weirdo conspiracy nut.

widenation - 10 Jan 2019 10:40:18 (#20 of 90)

Joey (Friends) - Trump.
