When I was seven years old I was given a book called Cat o' Nine Lives which I remember very fondly. The eponymous cat had many terrifying adventures but at the end had settled down to enjoy his last life in peace.

It had wonderfully fuzzy illustrations.

Sound familiar to anyone else?
