First!

Eligelis - 23 Jul 2019 22:07:29 (#2 of 1813)

Would anyone mind if I joined in?

It would be nice to be posting in a friendly place

Cordelia - 23 Jul 2019 22:10:14 (#3 of 1813)

Whimse away!

Which has just earwormed me with The Lion Sleeps Tonight dammit.

My Jasmine isn’t doing its thing this evening, not sure why. Usually it drifts in through the balcony door.

FOURTH

#2 - You're always welcome, Eli.

My jasmine is still doing its "destroying the fence by growing too vigorously" thing. I wish it wouldn't.

goldfinch - 23 Jul 2019 22:17:21 (#6 of 1813)

I think my jasmine is drains.I shall have to go and talk to next door.

Sabacious - 23 Jul 2019 22:17:37 (#7 of 1813)

Now fed and watered, although contentment is being held up by crisis across the pond that was very much not expected but hopefully may get sorted before I arrive. And breathe.

Ricolas - 23 Jul 2019 22:17:49 (#8 of 1813)

Good evening one, all, and Eli!

Fans are set up, and Pebble is playing with the remote of hers making it roar! with a gale like rage, and generally setting herself up for a sleepless night. ah well.

Ricolas - 23 Jul 2019 22:18:53 (#9 of 1813)

My jasmine has hauled itself off the fence earlier, so I staple-gunned it back up. I am not, in truth, the greatest gardener.

Impedimenta - 23 Jul 2019 22:26:44 (#10 of 1813)

A pleasure to see you Eli

helenskywalker - 23 Jul 2019 22:28:19 (#11 of 1813)

Fifthed or sixthed welcome, I lost count.

Sabacious - 23 Jul 2019 22:28:27 (#12 of 1813)

+1

I was a bit late to this thread as I had to google all the things people were having for dinner to find out what they were. I am though trying to eat more healthily so I just cured a small hypo with fruit instead of scoffing 1/2lb of Dairy Milk.

*waves at Eli*

Ricolas - 23 Jul 2019 22:32:45 (#14 of 1813)

I had left over curry, Slicey. Google that.

goldfinch - 23 Jul 2019 22:33:12 (#15 of 1813)

Forgot to wave at Eli. Welcome.

Helen's dinner made me go to the proper kebab shop for charcoal-grilled lamb and all the bits and pieces. And chips. And beer.

Not big or clever (actually it was quite big).

slicey - 23 Jul 2019 22:40:35 (#17 of 1813)

Deliveroo keeps offering me something called The German Doner Kebab which confuses me somewhat.

Sabacious - 23 Jul 2019 22:43:36 (#18 of 1813)

Its a German doner kebab. Like a normal kebab, but German.

Ricolas - 23 Jul 2019 22:45:09 (#19 of 1813)

It is delivered by a man wearing a helmet with a spike on the top.

One of my favourite things about festivals is the availability of some fab street food type stuff. I ate fab macaroni cheese topped with crispy bacon, a bloody awesome burrito, a brilliant chicken burger, halloumi gyros (twice, it was my favourite) and a lovely Tibetan beef curry with dumplings (Momos apparently). It’s amazing, and I’ve eaten it three years in a row now. Must find somewhere other than Bluedot I can get it.
