A BBC History magazine a couple of years ago. I may have bought a slab of chocolate at the same time.
A Lottery ticket (unsuccessful).
Not bought a newspaper this century and most snacks are cheaper at Boots. Maybe Xmas cards or a pen a few years ago.
Some envelopes.
A bottle of water at the flight-side branch at Leeds Airport.
A book about Castle Bromwich.
A copy of Aesthetica magazine. The number one periodical for pseuds of all ages and neurodiversities.
Some of them big squashy envelopes to put my nephew's birthday present in.
For myself: 2 jigsaw puzzles, a gardening magazine, a Graun, a couple of DK illustrated books.
For mum: 10 red pens.
Private Eye and the Telegraph (for the free water) at the airport.
Almost certainly a graun and some kind of meal deal, LTN or BHX probs.
The Derby Telegraph at (unsurprisingly) Derby station.
An international driving permit in the embedded Post Office.
Two marmite jars (Stansted)
A sticker dolly dressing book. ("Brides and Bridesmaids")
Blotting paper.
Various boxes of chocolates which were in a sale for 50p each. Can't remember what they were but it included Monty Bojangles.
Some emergency earphones at the Victoria Station branch, so that I wouldn't have to engage with my colleagues.
A pad of paper to take notes on the course I’ve just started (I think I may have bought a hole punch at the same time). W H Smiths was handy and the pad is fine but finding anything in there is a struggle and the shop looks awful so all in all not a pleasant experience.
