There must a be biggish stock of reasonably entertaining stuff from the dusty archives that might amuse us, perhaps you might care to offer your suggestions.

What memorable TV repeat

Would inflict a stunning defeat

To counter the allure of the street

And furnish an entertaining treat?

Slightly insensitive, but Survivors made a big impact on me as a child in the 70s and I've watched it twice since, probably don't bother with the third series and certainly not the recent remake where their clothes never seemed to get dirty!

Gah! Her Walrus has beaten me to it…

solomongursky - 30 Mar 2020 14:35:31 (#12 of 351)

I can't watch Secret Army after Allo Allo.

DonkeyOT - 30 Mar 2020 14:35:42 (#13 of 351)

That thing about the Nazi occupation of the Channel Islands - I forget the title.

Some cracking suggestions already - hope the broadcasters are taking note!

Doubt it.

womaninpoundland2 - 30 Mar 2020 14:36:58 (#14 of 351)

Not Her, Herr!

Agree with Secret Army. Also Tinker Tailor if you're going to watch Smiley's People.

Also original State of Play and House of Cards.

DonkeyOT - 30 Mar 2020 14:38:51 (#15 of 351)

Don't recollect State of Play - but a big yes for H of C!

womaninpoundland2 - 30 Mar 2020 14:39:58 (#16 of 351)

And how about GBH with Michael Palin and Robert Lindsay?

FrankieTeardrop - 30 Mar 2020 14:40:17 (#17 of 351)

Oh yeah, that was good

FGBFGB - 30 Mar 2020 14:41:31 (#18 of 351)

The Riff Raff Element.

TommyDGNR8 - 30 Mar 2020 14:41:39 (#19 of 351)

How have you got time to be bored when you're styting?

DonkeyOT - 30 Mar 2020 14:42:59 (#20 of 351)

Sorry - yes, typo.

Is upset about the lack of recognition for the poetry, somewhat alleviated by the brilliant response.
