Property - The Good, the Bad and the Ugly.
I'm in the latter cat - 80s flat badly in need of a refurb. To the extent that video interviews are kind of a problem which needs addressing. Choose your own background is quite appealing.
Starter for 10 - view of a Minster, and includes a coach house:

If I had to move back to London. Popping around the corner for a quick dip in the pond would shake off the cobwebs every morning.

Tht's the biggest London garden we've had for many a nigh on.
That's absolutely gorgeous, and one of the few London houses I'd spend my lottery winnings on, if I ever a) entered and b) won.
This one's notable for the pleasing symmetry in picture 14. I like the effort they've gone to with the headboards.

Both very nice. The Highgate one is surprisingly homely (UK meaning) for one with such a high price tag.
I'm really not that into period properties and I love how the big kitchen and reception rooms all flow to that lovely big garden. Apart from some redecorating that house is pretty much my kind of style.
Gorgeous houses on this new thread! (My favourite so far is the Highgate house).
There's this, a few miles from me:

Love the Highgate one.
Nice view across the sea, hate the furniture and decor but like the space.

As a conversion this isn't bad, but part of it makes me feel like I'd be living in a play pen.

I live not far from this place and am very interested to see how it looks once renovated -

It really does! I know a cleaner who works locally and she's keen to see inside, once it's sorted.
That's going to be wonderful, if they do it right.
There's a picture of one of the fireplaces on this page showing the inglenook settle -

We are delighted that the new owner is keen to repair the building sensitively using traditional materials and techniques wherever possible, whilst bringing it back to life as a family home.
I quite like it as it is.
