My heart is Lost; the beasts have eaten it

I don't know why either. On we go!

Pesky beasts.

Dubris - 20 Feb 2021 18:05:54 (#2 of 1189)

Second! Wagner continues on Radio 3. Still a couple of hours before Valhalla goes up in flames.

MadamGwenver - 20 Feb 2021 18:10:58 (#3 of 1189)

Roast gammon, sautéed cabbage with mustard seeds, CHIPS.

I am slightly startled by liking cabbage these days.

helenskywalker - 20 Feb 2021 18:15:15 (#4 of 1189)

I am going to have sushi in a bit. Currently eating goat's cheese Cheesies.

Dubris - 20 Feb 2021 18:19:14 (#5 of 1189)

It turns out that cabbage doesn't have to be largely tasteless green mush, which is how I remember it from childhood.

Towlie - 20 Feb 2021 18:21:19 (#6 of 1189)

Chicken dhansak bubbling away. Well, the base and the lentils are, that chicken is going nowhere near it for at least an hour.

Our next thread title has to be something about being the Lost to get a jab.

DejaLu - 20 Feb 2021 18:31:54 (#8 of 1189)

Cabbage is fabbage.

slicey - 20 Feb 2021 18:33:21 (#9 of 1189)

Savoy is joy.

Ginmonkey - 20 Feb 2021 18:35:00 (#10 of 1189)

Moroccan meatballs or beef shin chilli for dinner, whatever cooks first in the next hour and a half.

Cordelia - 20 Feb 2021 18:39:13 (#11 of 1189)

Ham sandwich. Crisps.

slicey - 20 Feb 2021 18:42:28 (#12 of 1189)

I also had chilli. M&S didn't specify which part of the cow was involved.

I have also been drawing icebergs. It's a test of your scientific credentials before you descend into drawing the inevitable.

Cordelia - 20 Feb 2021 18:45:38 (#13 of 1189)

Oh that’s fun!

Sabacious - 20 Feb 2021 18:57:43 (#14 of 1189)

I drew one and it didn't move at all

<preens>

LippyPongstocking - 20 Feb 2021 18:59:04 (#15 of 1189)

I've eaten loads. Chicken Jalfrezi with rice, plus healthy veg sides of broccoli, mange-tout and baby corn. I then ate three (3!) Jaffa cakes and am having another glass of wine. I don't think my drawing skills would be very impressive at present.

Cordelia - 20 Feb 2021 19:00:22 (#16 of 1189)

I got one that barely moved. Now I’m trying to draw ones that will do close to 360 degrees before settling.

Dubris - 20 Feb 2021 19:02:32 (#17 of 1189)

It's harder than you think it should be to draw an unstable iceberg outline.

PreachyPreach - 20 Feb 2021 19:04:16 (#18 of 1189)

Kids have demanded I stop listening to Wagner to watch Doctor Who instead.

Nina Stemme is very good though.

slicey - 20 Feb 2021 19:04:39 (#19 of 1189)

I cheated and based mine on a Fox's Glacier Mint.

binturong - 20 Feb 2021 19:30:12 (#20 of 1189)

It turns out I'm really good at drawing perfectly stable icebergs at exactly the correct depth, and terrible at drawing unstable ones.
