Why are people taking their dogs to the shops?

And how come there was a CAT in Greggs trying to take a cheese sandwich?!

They aren't even guide dogs. Just random dogs.

Should I take the bunny for a walk around New Look? Or take the hamster to the betting shop in his ball?

Surely it should be "Guide Dogs" only?

Why are people taking their dogs to the shops?

Does the dog need new shoes?

guigal - 11 Oct 2021 11:05:52 (#3 of 58)

It needs a walk.

RosyLovelady - 11 Oct 2021 11:10:56 (#4 of 58)

They are also taking their electric scooting machines into the supermarket. I think we sad pedestrians are supposed to be grateful that they don't actually ride them round the shop, so far.

guigal - 11 Oct 2021 11:12:54 (#5 of 58)

They will. And supermarkets will have to accommodate them under pro-disabled laws.

Beaky1 - 11 Oct 2021 11:14:44 (#6 of 58)

At least there’s less shoplifting with the shortages.

elderberry - 11 Oct 2021 11:14:53 (#7 of 58)

I don't know why the cat, but do know there's no point reasoning with it, I told Oscar that tomato soup isn't cat food and he ignored me.

hth

and cats love cheese sandwiches

Surely it should be "Guide Dogs" only?

And guide horses, although some have had problems

I imagine my dog dreams of being let loose in Sainsbury's. Especially near the deli.

Arjuna - 11 Oct 2021 11:18:25 (#10 of 58)

My dog used to love hanging about outside Greggs

FGBFGB - 11 Oct 2021 11:20:12 (#11 of 58)

Leftie!! Welcome back!

Catspyjamas17 - 11 Oct 2021 11:20:36 (#12 of 58)

The difference between dogs and cats is that my dog would just eat a piece of toast left unattended, the cats would lick the butter off and nibble a corner. The effect is the same though. Unless you don't notice the latter at first.

Catspyjamas17 - 11 Oct 2021 11:21:27 (#13 of 58)

The dog would also eat the toast that had been licked by the cats first.

Tenesmus - 11 Oct 2021 13:57:22 (#14 of 58)

And also eat the toast vommed up by the cat.

tasselhoff - 11 Oct 2021 15:19:04 (#15 of 58)

Dogs tend to eat anything that comes out of a cat.

wickeltisch - 11 Oct 2021 14:23:13 (#16 of 58)

So you just have to feed the cat and the dog feeds itself?

wickeltisch - 11 Oct 2021 14:24:16 (#17 of 58)

But can a big dog ( a rottweiler for example) survive on cat shit alone?

tasselhoff - 11 Oct 2021 15:28:52 (#18 of 58)

Get 20 cats

wickeltisch - 11 Oct 2021 14:30:51 (#19 of 58)

Good idea!

FleurDuMal - 11 Oct 2021 15:31:18 (#20 of 58)

And how come there was a CAT in Greggs trying to take a cheese sandwich?!

That’s very wrong. Cheese gives cats diarrhoea.
