I have been to all of my auntie's houses

It's rubbish!

And one of my colleagues has been going on and on about eating Mars Bars.

And I've been in the post office and a young bloke called an old man a "specky cunt". Nice!

What’s rubbish?

dreams99 - 27 Oct 2021 15:44:39 (#2 of 90)

How many houses does your auntie have?

Agaliarept - 27 Oct 2021 15:45:16 (#3 of 90)

Is it one auntie with many houses or lots of aunties with one house each?

Tadagee - 27 Oct 2021 15:47:31 (#4 of 90)

Or indeed a combination.

The head of the NSB, the Durch nazi party, married his 18 year-senior aunt. She was a blood relative, his mother's sister. He was hanged I think.

That went from 0-100 pretty quick.

He was hanged I think.

Harsh punishment for incest.

I always thought Mario Vargas Llosa married his aunt (hence Aunt Julia and the Scriptwriter), but she was actually his uncle's sister in law, so not a blood relative. His second wife was his first cousin though, the dirty bugger.

Hitler was the product of an avunculate marriage, but Einstein and Darwin married cousins so there's arguments both ways.

Don't knock it until you've tried it.

Macpaddy - 27 Oct 2021 16:24:13 (#12 of 90)

There was lad in our grammar school who we all knew was" courting" his sister, inevitably, she became pregnant and they both left school. They moved in together as man and wife while he went to Uni. She went college a few years later and became a teacher. I ran in to them some years later, they had three children were very much in love and extremely happy. All three children are perfectly normal kids.

Do you have to say that otherwise their mind rays will kill you?

tasselhoff - 27 Oct 2021 16:25:49 (#14 of 90)

Blimey

dreams99 - 27 Oct 2021 16:30:05 (#15 of 90)

Real sister or stepsister/adopted? Because it is actually illegal, surprising they hadn't been done for it.

Macpaddy - 27 Oct 2021 16:30:54 (#16 of 90)

They were a really likeable couple, as individuals as well as a pair.

He used to win the the100 and 200 metres every year.

Macpaddy - 27 Oct 2021 16:31:35 (#17 of 90)

#15. Blood brother and sister, dreams.

fogsake - 27 Oct 2021 16:43:10 (#18 of 90)

Cousin couples are far more common than you'd think. In some cultures it is preferred. There are no statistical differences in birth defects and so on.

dreams99 - 27 Oct 2021 16:44:36 (#19 of 90)

Are there not? Would like to see evidence of that.

fogsake - 27 Oct 2021 16:44:59 (#20 of 90)

Look it up.
