Trans-labradors are labradors </woke>
Those Newfoundland Fishing dogs are gorgeous, they do not live very long though, which is such a shame.
For a brief moment there is sunshine and blue skies. It will probably be raining in half an hour.
Still, mustn't grumble, eh?
And in the meantime Mum is at the breakfast table counting out her morning pills.
The sun is also trying to break through here, which is welcome after yesterday's squelchiness. It's also unseasonably warm and therefore the birds are behaving as though spring has arrived.
MrsR is feeling under the weather so I am letting her lie in. Which means we all get to laze about. Win! She is not testing +ve at present, so no fears there I think.
Dull and grey oop north.
As usual.
I typed too soon. During the past fifteen minutes the skies have become overcast and it's now pouring with rain.
Cold and pissing down and blowing a gale here. As usual.
My younger brother and his family came to visit yesterday and my sister-in-law still hasn't stopped talking despite leaving 12 hours ago.
Ah, alas. I was pondering a walk later. Still, hat and boots and off to the park perhaps.
And in the meantime Mum is at the breakfast table counting out her morning pills.
I hope you're in the parlour eating bread and honey.
Dubs, can you get your mum's pharmacist or an online service to do the pill sorting for her? Then she doesn't have to worry about whether she's picked up the right packet or whatever (we had to do this for MazyMum with her carers giving medication). Something like this.

Coincidentally my parents dropped their pill box on the floor this morning and there followed a comical "That's one of yours I think" type exchange.
In other news Elric has left the building and Sam's equilibrium has been restored.
This morning I have taken my mother to the garden centre to buy a pair of trousers.
They have a Bon Marche concession there.
Adios Elric. Good BOY Sam. BEST boy!
As Sam's therapy human we shared 10 mins on the couch this morning to get over it all.
