Lost Christmas, I gave you my Sprout.

Whimsy R number suggests < 2000 posts before Xmas.

Trans-labradors are labradors </woke>

Sabacious - 27 Dec 2021 23:26:20 (#1022 of 2020)

I think you need to ask the labradors about that!

DejaLu - 28 Dec 2021 00:11:15 (#1023 of 2020)

Ha! You beat me to that, Slicey.

Those Newfoundland Fishing dogs are gorgeous, they do not live very long though, which is such a shame.

For a brief moment there is sunshine and blue skies. It will probably be raining in half an hour.

Still, mustn't grumble, eh?

And in the meantime Mum is at the breakfast table counting out her morning pills.

The sun is also trying to break through here, which is welcome after yesterday's squelchiness. It's also unseasonably warm and therefore the birds are behaving as though spring has arrived.

SCIENCE CHICKENS!

MrsR is feeling under the weather so I am letting her lie in. Which means we all get to laze about. Win! She is not testing +ve at present, so no fears there I think.

FleurDuMal - 28 Dec 2021 09:20:47 (#1029 of 2020)

Dull and grey oop north.

As usual.

LippyPongstocking - 28 Dec 2021 09:28:20 (#1030 of 2020)

I typed too soon. During the past fifteen minutes the skies have become overcast and it's now pouring with rain.

SliceysLittleHelper - 28 Dec 2021 09:31:42 (#1031 of 2020)

Cold and pissing down and blowing a gale here. As usual.

My younger brother and his family came to visit yesterday and my sister-in-law still hasn't stopped talking despite leaving 12 hours ago.

Ricolas - 28 Dec 2021 09:31:51 (#1032 of 2020)

Ah, alas. I was pondering a walk later. Still, hat and boots and off to the park perhaps.

surferbaublewhatever - 28 Dec 2021 09:39:29 (#1033 of 2020)

And in the meantime Mum is at the breakfast table counting out her morning pills.

I hope you're in the parlour eating bread and honey.

mazylou - 28 Dec 2021 10:07:00 (#1034 of 2020)

Dubs, can you get your mum's pharmacist or an online service to do the pill sorting for her? Then she doesn't have to worry about whether she's picked up the right packet or whatever (we had to do this for MazyMum with her carers giving medication). Something like this.

That's interesting, Mazy.

SliceysLittleHelper - 28 Dec 2021 11:50:25 (#1036 of 2020)

Coincidentally my parents dropped their pill box on the floor this morning and there followed a comical "That's one of yours I think" type exchange.

In other news Elric has left the building and Sam's equilibrium has been restored.

Dubris - 28 Dec 2021 11:55:10 (#1037 of 2020)

This morning I have taken my mother to the garden centre to buy a pair of trousers.

They have a Bon Marche concession there.

Impedimenta - 28 Dec 2021 12:14:24 (#1038 of 2020)

Adios Elric. Good BOY Sam. BEST boy!

SliceysLittleHelper - 28 Dec 2021 12:28:01 (#1039 of 2020)

As Sam's therapy human we shared 10 mins on the couch this morning to get over it all.

DejaLu - 28 Dec 2021 12:47:05 (#1040 of 2020)

Aaand there goes the tree again.
