Mornington CresceNtT

Time for another game or two.

For those not familiar with the rules, a sample game can be found here:

413.htm

First round adheres to Lord Grovesnor's original metropolitan rules, so it should be a long game.

You spelled crescent wrong, tinca! Tee hee!

In nid so early on, tinca?

You know as well as I do, beaks, that my mis-spelling of crescent was a deliberate nod to NtT. And I'm not in nidd, catsmeat.

No doubling, solomon.

God, I need to consult a map top make sure we're following Lord Grosvenor's rules. (Scenic route, for those unfamiliar)

tincatinca - 17 Aug 2011 22:28:58 (#10 of 1543)

Can I respectfully remind players that they need to bold their posts?

(b space post)

Thank you

No doubling, solomon.

I don't want to cause trouble but we've more or less established this. Doubling's explicitly allowed unless there's recursive platform changing. I don't want to stand on principle, but principle's never stood on me. Can we get a ruling?

Steward's?

tincatinca - 17 Aug 2011 22:38:22 (#13 of 1543)

Look, Solomon. I explicitly stated Lord Grosvenor's Original. You can't just dive in and add extra rules such as doubling. However, if we get a majority vote amongst the current players to include doubling, then I'll accede, reluctantly.

And Stewards does not need an apostrophe. That certainly puts you in Nidd.

Steward's enquiry. It's quite regularly invoked when people

DON'T KNOW THE RULES.
