My cousin lived there, thought it was great. Stable, relatively prosperous, beautiful countryside

A couple I know went on holiday there. They're still together, if that helps.

Well it’s a point in favour.

The lad across the road went there last year and got mugged three times, although apart from that he said it was great.

Lots of ecotourism, dive with Whale Sharks, swim under waterfalls in jungles full of tropical birds.

I went there and got mugged but apart from that it was excellent.

San Jose is the place for muggers, I was wandering around on my own at two in the morning on my first night out.

Get out of there and it is fine.

Friends went pre-pandemic. Said it was amazing.

Cost of living has increased over last few years, anywhere you find foreign retirees.

I've seen Costa Rica.

Friendly at Hampden a few years ago.

I'd have laughed, had I not recalled the result!
